I think Wizards should trade Beal or Wall. They just dont fit with each other. I would trade whoever gets you more back if I was them. But I dont know that Rivers is a starter anyways. Just a 6th man role at best. Also he will be a UFA after next season so he isnt much of a long term thing. This was more about appeasing Wall.I actually like Rivers to Wizards, but I like interesting story lines. Does that mean Beal or Porter are out?
As for the Clippers I think cutting Teledosich (sp?) saves them 4 Million, and I don't see him coming back.

I like Gortat to the Clippers too. By trading Rivers, they take the personal out of the equation. Now, they don't have to worry about re-signing him, rebuilding, etc. Gortat will receive a paycheck and will get traded if it helps the team. Past that, he's just going to walk in 12 months. If the Clippers getting Gortat makes DJordan do something stupid, it's an amazing trade.
Teodosic is all but gone from LA. He's going to be yet another underpaid player this summer because not many can spend.

I am hoping to get Exum for less than 12 million. That seems higher than he will be offered but if another team offers him that I would match it without a second thought. My best guess is he gets offered something around 9-10 per year for 4 years. But he also might take an offer of less years and bet on himself.
Wall is basically untradeable on his mega/superdupermax deal.
I think they need to move Porter or Oubre. If they don't trade Otto he won't have a lot of value next year as he has a PO on the final year... means there is only downside to acquiring him... if he explodes he opts out. I think he'd have decent value this offseason though as you get a couple years at decent production if he's healthy. IDK they have issues and will lose a piece next year unless they pay a **** ton of tax or sell off Mahinmi by using picks. ****** team that is also expensive... and their GM got an extension.
If LA waived Beverley, what are some of his possible landing spots?
I would love to trade for Oubre. He would be a great fit here. Just about the only trade that would work is Morris and Oubre for Burks and either a pick or Bradley. I doubt they go for that.
Ryan Anderson, Luol Deng say hello12m per for Exum is the definition of an albatross contract.
i don'tI think the Jazz would be nuts to sign Favors to a multi year deal.
i don't
I agree... it just has to be a great value so it is tradeable. If he gets hurt you risk it being terrible either way... but let's say all that is out there is MLE for him and we do 3/30... he might be a good trade piece or he might outperform the contract... could basically treat him like a backup for that money (he'd start but come out early).
If I was Washington, I would be trading John Wall on July 26, 2018 when his contract allows him to be traded. I think he is a terrible value for that contract.
If I was Washington, I would trade Wall to Cleveland for all their expirings, Colin Sexton and a future 1st and laugh in a couple years when Cleveland chokes on the contracts of Wall and whoever is left.
HH i just have a hard time seeing an elite free agent coming .. so i really like what Fav does for the team and i'd go a little above what you would.
We may not be able to get an elite free agent, but I think it's very possible that we could get someone like Khris Middleton, Tobias Harris, or Niko next offseason.
