Have to disagree. Morant was very good, no question, but Rudy was absolutely fantastic tonight.
Memphis is classy. They loved Conley but Morant is going to be a star.

I'm guessing Quinn wanted Royce on Ja. He was abusing everyone else.I'm not surprised the Grizzlies won. The Jazz have won too many close games of late, so it's bound to happen. The Jazz will be better.
I'm not sure where to put this, but someone that watched more of the game will have to let me know why Joe was not in the game at the end besides literally the last play.
It's a pretty clear call, but I don't know what angle the ref(s) had. If they can't see clearly, probably best to swallow the whistle. This angle is still not definitive imo - unless you looks way different when played in HD.
I think the dude had a lot of ball and probably some arm too. Tough position to be a ref there.
That wasn't Royce's assignment, he picked him up on the switch.e

However, if they had an angle, woof.
I'm not hating on Gobert in the least but he missed the most important one. This game is not his fault though. I want to make that clear.Rudy was 5-7 from the line though which is good and the team was 85% from the line

The **** you talking about?
Right arm grabbed easy foul
It's worth a shot but I'm not sure that's the issue. There is likely an adjustment to that lineup as well since he will be the clear 5th option and he hasn't played that role in quite some time. This isn’t really relevant but I want Joe back in the starting lineup. Him off the bench is pointless. Him playing with Mudiay is pointless. He’s already getting the toughest defensive assignment. Just put him back in the lineup. We play our best lineup only a couple minutes per game.
Man, I just keep going back to Jeff Green, he was clearly the worst player out there today, yet he had the highest minutes of all the bench players, with 21.
Could we not have had Dante come in for 3 or 4 minutes to see whether he can make even the slightest of differences?
Couldn’t have made the bench effort worse that’s for sure.

If Exum plays well which he does about 30% of the 50% of the games he actually plays in. Otherwise, even bum-*** Uncle Jeff at least has to be guarded off the ball. It's pretty obvious to me whose minutes Exum should take--Jeff Green. He's a flakey defender, mostly a non-rebounder and an inefficient scorer. Playing Exum at the 3 and moving Ingles to the 4 to give Exum minutes won't hurt the team.
