Jazz have the best 5 man rotation for +/- in the league?

Our starter combinations have such a great +/- rate because our bench production has sucked all year long, and seems like will be borderline inefficient untill we get Memo %100 healthy back.

Wow do you have any idea how stupid this post makes you look? Our bench has carried us almost all year. The starters have continually gotten this team in a hole and the bench has brought us back. This just shows that you have not watched very many games because your boy was not playing.

Bro, I wouldn't go that far. Our bench was God awful early on.

Well i did say almost all year. Like all basketball teams they have definitely had their bad games. The bench has won us more games than lost us. The bench has definitely not sucked all year like he claimed.

Oh, you're not an just arrogant, condescending prick towards me. You're just an arrogant, condescending prick period. I'm sure you're a delight IRL.

I am done responding to your posts and I ask that you refrain from responding to mine going forward. You're not a Jazz fan. Nothing the Jazz has ever done has ever brought you joy here. All you do is harp and criticize and try to seem professorial in the process. You're nothing but an act, and it makes you nothing more than an ***.

Completely disagree. I find you and a few others love to spout opinion with no real analysis, conjecture without honesty, bravado in the face of overwhelming contradictory evidence. I would take a 100 IGS posts over yours if for no other reason he attempt to use logic versus some misplaced axe to grind when posting.

Logic is the ultimate GIGO. You can prove anything with logic, as long as you assume the premises you need for the proof. In some ways it is less revealing than axe-grinding, but most of the time it is on the same level.

Nuh-uh. Playing more minutes in more games against a wider variety of opponents should make absolutely no difference in how a player plays. A lack of basketball skills, poor fitness, a lack of understanding of basic offensive strategies and inconsistency can all be explained away with +/-.

There really is no need to look at other stats and indicators when you already know a player's standing reach and +/-.

Not to nit-pick, but the initial premises could be totally incorrect.

Wowww... I'm just reading the reactions to my initial post and feeling like I did a bad job reflecting my perceptions through my message. Anyway. Let me clarify my opinion in a better way, although certain ones here who just do not have the capability and capacity to look at from other perspectives not to bash and label others and who blindly defend some stupid hatreds and ideas, will not get it. Among all NBA team benches, The Jazz Bench;

- Ranks #26 in OFF. EFFICIENCY https://www.hoopsstats.com/basketball/fantasy/nba/teamstats/11/7/eff/1-1
- Ranks #27 in MINS PLAYED https://www.hoopsstats.com/basketball/fantasy/nba/teamstats/11/7/min/1-1
- Ranks #21 in FG PCT https://www.hoopsstats.com/basketball/fantasy/nba/teamstats/11/7/fgpct/1-1
- Ranks #10 in FAULS COMMITTED (might be #1 considering differences btw the amount of PT) https://www.hoopsstats.com/basketball/fantasy/nba/teamstats/11/7/pf/1-1

Meanwhile, the Jazz starters are #4 in entire NBA in minutes played, and rank #7 in Efficiency (data provided from same adress). The Jazz bench is #10 overally, which is good IMO.

I tried to say the Jazz,so far this season, have not got reliable, consistent production from their bench and being shorthanded, undermanned has proved costly to them. The fact the missing player is Okur, who has been with the team before, has been an important piece of the puzzle just adds to that problem. The Jazz starters have had to play enormous mins and they have finished the games while many of the elite teams have had the chance to play 2-3 bench players in late game situations.

You need to click on the "Opponent's Stats" tab on the upper right of the table. Do that for the Starters too and you get a clearer picture. Good find on the site. Hadn't seen it.

Yep. The Jazz bench outscores their opponents' respective benches 24.9 to 24.3, despite playing fewer minutes per game (15.8 mpg v. 14.7 mpg).

When Memo is ready to play (currently, he looks like the worst big man on the team), hopefully he can provide the starters with some rest. With that said, the bench has been fine.
