Jazz having James Johnson Workout

Of course he wants to play for Utah and Ty Corbin. Johnson likely gets 25 mins/per if he ends up signing with Utah. Probably takes mins away from Favors. Then Utah can offer Derrick less money for a new contract by saying he's not a full-time player.

That guy has been behind two #3 picks and two proven NBA starters. James Johnson played on scrub teams behind scrub players.

If the jazz sign him, there's no doubt in my mind he'll get mor minutes. Talk to me now.

Hell! 90% of the game of asked all is a weakness for Evans. The dude isn't even 200 pounds and the jazz play him at pf for hell sakes and you trust him more then the other guy.

Some times I think you argue just to argue.

We don't know that Evans is incapable of gaining weight. At 220, hell be more than big enough to play back-up PF, and probably earn minutes over Johnson.

Utah Jazz: the team where washed up vets go to 'resurrect' their careers. Sometimes it works. sometimes You know, if they do sign this guy, folks can no longer say that the Jazz have no bench, and in that case, it'll all depend on how the 'young' players do. I hate to break it to the tankers, but the Jazz could actually play alright.

Yeeeeeeeaaaaaaah...... if we sign THIS DUDE, then our bench is re-made. And, yeeeeeeeaaaaaaah, the jazz would be sending a HUGE message.

Who wants to rep train for CiCi?

Well he might put a little weight, but if he does hell probably just lose it like AK always did, and to this day he's still only around 200 lb's if even that. He will never be big enough to get consistent minutes at pf, and will never have the wing skills to play sf.

Tyrus Thomas straight up sucks.

Ivan Johnson is average backup.

James Johnson is probably somewhere in between.

I prefer Evans because he is more unique and I think he offers some stuff that a lot of other players can't.

Johnson is unique too, but there are a fair amount of power-athlete tweeners in the league who do what he does.

Evans athletic ability is truly unique and his 2nd/3rd jump is unparalleled in the league. I just think he is capable of providing a better spark of energy off the bench than Johnson. Johnson is probably a better man defender, but I see a lack of efficiency and a lack of IQ with Johnson.

This season is a giant experiment anyway, I'd rather test out Evans, who hasn't been put through a proper experiment than Johnson, who has been tried out by 3 teams and passed by all 3.

Hey, those are great videos, we should go sign Sundiatta also, he beat the fargin Cavs with one.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not against the signing, but you have to look at the entire picture. Speaking of which, is anyone surprised at all the his career went downhill when he played for the Kings? In analyzing him, I would throw away that year and look at prior seasons, and doing that, he isn't half bad. At a good price he would make a good player, though it would spell disaster for Evans.

Excuse me, dude but I've been on the "sign James Johnson" wagon for 2 years.

The NEWS is what interested me. The NEWS.

I think James Johnson is worth the risk. He is a very good athlete and pretty skilled. If the Jazz can get him to focus it could be a nice piece to have around.
