What's new

Jazz@hawks, 3.25.12, 4:00 p.m.

I'm not sure if anyone here has yet but if not I'll be the first to attempt to defend Corbin by saying that the starters likely told him there was no way they were being pulled from the game, and Corbin may have thought it may be wise to leave them in for two reasons. If he sat them, the back-ups (Favors, Burks, etc.) would likely have to finish that OT period because of the short time frame. Additionally, the minute he sat them (especially Big Al), their legs would tie up, and they'd be worthless if he tried to get them back in there.

Well thank God for Ty, right? That decision turned a potential two game winning streak into a guaranteed two game losing streak, killing all of our momentum from the winning streak, and severely hurting our chances at making the playoffs.

The entire game was a crap fest. It seemed like no one could hit a jump shot to save their life.

Also, having Josh Smith foul out was possibly the worst thing that could happen. He was chucking shot after shot, killing ATL's offense.

I can understand no subs for the first 2 OT's, but by the time that 3rd one rolls around it seems like it would be wise to put someone new in. I don't think ATL subbed anyone out either though, besides when Smith fouled out.

stfu at the start of 2nd ot he could have taken out big al for 2 minutes put him back in at the 3 minutes to go
then wehn al comes back in take out cj put in burks for 2 minutes
simple stuff like that wins GAMES

Again, Al may have told him, "No ****ing way you're taking me out."

No way CJ deserved to be a "closer," not for 4 OT. He isn't better than Burks.

He was 7/14, 3/6 from deep, and playing relatively good defense on Johnson (considering he made his first 8 in a row in the 1st when he was unconscious). CJ even had that great play towards the end, just came up short. I think the Jazz missed about 10 point blank layups through out the game.

Or what about Sap missing a wide open 10 footer in regulation to end it?

who the **** cares about if atl subs or not. if you care about that gtfo and joun hawksfanz.com or whatever.
corbin needs to go
phil jackson greg popppovich never would let this happen epsieaclly if there is a game tommorw. now not only did we **** up this game but tommorw jazz lose. which then shoots the confidence of this team down and come boston jazz LOSe
3 losses in a row back out of the top 8

pop owuld have been wise and pulled the players so if they lose its by design

For the record, Between Favors and Burks they combined for a total of 0 points and 1 board after they subbed in. They probably weren't tired enough.

Jazz lose a road game to a playoff team in quadruple OT. After 6 straight wins. Fans melt and demand coach's head. Something here doesn't fit, and I don't think it's me.

So you don't care about what the Hawks do, just the Lakers and Spurs?

sitting from halfway in the 4th qtr ocmming in at tripple ot they just went cold

The loss is on the players. They had chances and made a lot of dumb plays that cost them.
And you don't play your bench against their starters.

Oh look it's the joke poster again who thinks Favors should've come out on fire after sitting for an hour.
