Strange to think how we went from having an anemic backup PG spot, and then Watson comes in and does something like this, and the past few games Price has been really good. I'd hate to make a decision if I were Sloan at this point. Both guys are playing exceptionally well. And I'm at least grateful we don't have to see somebody like Fart and wonder why the hell he's ever on the floor.

Yep. If the Jazz can get the 2 spot figured out (unlikely), the Jazz will have sufficient depth once Memo gets back.

AK detractors will tell you it is or that he still just sucks
Sloan detractors will tell you it's because he's finally getting involved
Boozer detractors will say it's because it's cause he's finally gone and freeing up time, touches and chemistry issues.

As a Jazz fan I say I'm enjoying watching it and hope he can be had for Milsap money (minus the huge bonus Porty added) at the end of the year.

I'm happy for AK as well but it's got to be some sort of coincidence that he has awesome years only on contract years...

It's not as if CJ's or Raja's defensive presence has been irrelevant though. I'd say, so far, both of them have done pretty well for themselves. It's nice to see 2 guards that will play some defense when they're asked, and we have plenty of other options on the offensive end.

Yeah, they seem to have a good chemistry. I'm pretty sure that pretty much all of Evans' oops have been from Watson.

In between post-game locker room interviews, Locke said Watson and Evans had a "signal" between them for the alley oop. Deron started yellin at him for sayin it, and Locke says: "I didn't say what the signal was." After the game Watson said sumthin like: "I just threw it up there. I figured either he'd be there to jam it, or I wouldn't be seein the court for a good long spell."

Funny that you actually believe he would have done it.

Although, I don't think AK's performance revolves around money very much. If he's getting $8M per next season then I don't think his production changes very much. He just went from being the feature guy on a mediocre team to a 3rd banana or less on a much better team.
