What's new

Jazz @ Heat | November 9th @ 5:30pm

Jazz don't drive, don't box out, don't run plays. Williams seems either out of shape or just indifferent. Jefferson needs his minutes cut in half until he figures **** out. Everyone just jacks up shots at random.

Jazz are painful to watch so far this season.

Just looking at the stats, is everyone else sucking besides Millsap? That seems like it's been the case a couple times already this season.

Are you not watching the game? If not, then yes, Sap looks like the only one who 1. Cares. 2. Actually has NBA basketball ability.

The solution for Big Al is for him to just keep playing, keep shooting.
Right. After 0 for 6. Your inconsistency wouldn't be any more obvious if you tattooed it on your forehead. Jefferson can have 10 minutes in the first quarter to get into shooting form, yet Fes (or Elson for that matter) can't have 10 minutes for the entire game. If Sloan were any more consistent with you, he would've sat AJ down for a possession or so in every game so far.

I have had no problem with his shot selection, he just seems to be rushing a bit. I am confiden that he will click at some point. The only thing clicking for Fesenko is the marbles rolling around in his head.
You are as inconsistent in your thinking as Sloan; Fesenko is no different; he often needs time to get into scoring rhythm also, and it's tougher off the bench. The difference is that it takes Fes a few

Your blind apologism for Jefferson's performance (and Sloan's decision to stay with him for so many minutes) speaks volumes. And as has been so eloquently stated elsewhere, Elson has done nothing to put himself ahead of Fesenko in the lineup. It was also foolish to put all but Kirilenko out on the floor also.

Kudos to Sloan (I guess), for trying Price out there. Unfortunately the first wave of Price wasn't promising. Wade is pwning the jazz more than anyone. I would've started CJ ahead of Bell so that he doesn't go cold. Starting Miles was clearly worth trying; not because he "deserved" it but because it might allow him to stay in shooting form from warmup (not that Bell has).

Jefferson 0/6
Deron 1/5
Raja 1/5
CJ 1/7

Yeah, so stop blaming Jefferson alone.

No worries. By the end of the game these guys will make a run against Miami disinterested bench, cut the lead to 10 points, fix their stats to sort of acceptable for a bad day and everyone will be happy.

I can't believe you just used "Fesenko" and "scoring rythm" in the same sentence.

I'd rather wait for Al Jeff, who we all know has talent on the offensive end, than throw in the Ukrainian rahtard who we don't even know if he knows what city he's in.

Please come back, Memo!

The funny thing about Miami is that their biggest "fans" are the media; a look into the totally empty arena shows how much Miami really cares.

Wow, amazing how your argument shifts when your excuses for Big Al are, well, indefensible!

Too late, though; I already addressed how to take care of the other stuff (or attempt to do so); you start CJ and try Ronnie Price off the bench at the 2. Deron's not immune from being penalized for poor play, but he'd probably be the last player that I'd cut minutes. But if he's getting too pressed out there or starts playing individual ball, he would get sat down for a possession under the IGS dynasty also (although maybe I'd give him a warning first. Probably a good idea in most cases.)

So if Jefferson, Williams, and Raja can't score on or stop the heat, Price, CJ (who is 1/7, so under your theory he should be benched), and Fesenko can. This is all very intriguing. Please go on.

I think the idea is if these guys are shooting poorly it won't hurt if you let them rest and try something else like putting Fes and Evans in.

The Heat aren't THAT great. They actually don't play all that well together and their bench is pretty thin.

The thing that concerns me the most about the Jazz right now is their lack of consistent rebounding.
