What's new

Jazz interested in bringing Neto over now!

I can't help but think 'they just want to see if he wants in on the SL team'. Perhaps they're preparing to trade for Eric Bledsoe...
What is the fascination with Bledsoe? He's a scorer because he takes a lot of shots. But he doesn't have very good range. If we want a 3PT shooter at PG, Bledsoe is not the answer.

I'm not actually sure this would impact Exum in any way. It seems the Jazz are sold as far as Exum over Burke. Given that fact, and if Neto did come over, the only folks it would impact would be Burke and maybe Cotton.

I agree. I actually missed a word and meant to say it will NOT impact Exum. I simply am not convinced Neto is an upgrade over what we already have. He may well be, but I'm far from convinced, thus not excited.

Dear FO,

Please trade Trey sometime before the above statement is rendered obsolete.

Thanks,
your asset-worried fan

full disclosure:
If Trey makes it all the way to opening day, then I'm gonna cheer like hell for him, because that'll mean that Q and DoL still see a guy worth investing in. I did see some noticeable improvements at the end of last year.

Nice..

Hedge your bets do you are never wrong.

Also, use the hedge your bets term whenever and however you like, but call out others for using it the correct way.

If by > you mean "has more NBA game time experience", then yes, Burke > Neto, Cotton and Hanlan

By > I mean at this point in time he is a better player than Neto, Cotton or Hanlan. At least IMO. When Exum comes out of the game I'm putting Trey in before any of the others.

I actually agree, but I think that Cotton is a lot closer than I'd have expected him to be when the Jazz signed him. I'd like to see Trey's minutes cut into by Burks, and if the Jazz want to keep him to see how he develops. . . great. If not, then they might as well cut bait and invest the time into developing guys who have a future in Utah.

This isn't hedging. Look it up.

I'm outlining the moment in which the terms of wager/speculation will officially change for me. This act of transparency is precisely so that "hedging" can't be applied to how I'm thinking.

Sorry yr so butthurt, boi.

Adding Raul might help the team chemistry as he and Rudy appear to be buds.

If the Jazz think they can develop him better and make him a better asset to keep or trade, then why not bring him in?
