I agree with bringing Hayward off the bench. He was doing great in that role. It allows him more touches.

Call me crazy, but I think CJ needs to start and Hayward needs to come off the bench....
CJ flourishes as a starter. He seems to struggle as a bench player feeling like he needs to try and "make up" for it by chucking. Hayward, seems to do better as a 6th man.
If Raja is unable to play and Ty feeling like Burks cannot start.... Then I say start Carroll (he doesn't need to shoot with Harris, Millsap, and Jefferson chucking away) and can stick to what he does best, throwing passes, getting rebounds, and playing defense.

IDK if I would start Carrol. Jefferson and Sap need some floor spacers. Carrol isn't going to do that (unless he has improved leaps and bounds on his 3pt shooting).
I think he mostly just leaps and bounds.

Things are almost too good for Utah right now. Four huge straight wins, and tonight we see PHX and MIN lose while GS wins.
And the Kings just had a big win over the Griz last night. They won't be as hungry. I like it.

Clips lost too, looking like Dallas might lose also, bringing the higher seeds closer to us.

Yea. Dallas has 20 losses as of right now at the #4 spot, and Utah has 20 all the way down at #9. Safe to say we have a legit logjam in the WC again as spring begins. I'm still rooting for Dallas though lol.
Well, if Howard were around I'd be irate but I'd rather see Bell and CJ start, get limited minutes, and see Hayward and Burks come and dominate off the bench.

Agree. A little too much "we're feeling awesome!" going on right now. I would like to ask everyone to tone it down. I think the Jazz can and should win, but Sac just came off a pretty solid win against the struggling Wolves so they're feeling good. We must have this game - a ton riding on it (Jazz playoffs and GS pick).

Last I checked, each game counted the same in the standings, or am I missing something?
I think it's safe to say that every game down the home stretch is important, one is as important as the other when they calculate the standings at the end of the season.

Watch the postgame quotes from the players or pay attention to the various playoff threads. A week ago this board was almost dominated by crybabies and tankers.
