Jazz @ Kings 3/22/12 8PM MT Game Thread

Sacramento was at home coming off a 3 game streak including 2 against playoff teams. They brought everything they had and we had a little more even with an imperfect game. This stuff matters and winning games like this is a big deal. This is how teams learn how to win.

the fact the game winner doesnt make you feel better shows, as per normal haters, that it is more important to you to seem right, than for the jazz to win. sad, but usual around here.

False.

I don't feel good about this game. We won, so yipee. But I saw some things that I didn't like. Mainly, too many jumpers, poor offensive execution, bad rebounding, and our starting frontline didn't get to the FT line once.

Favors and Hayward were very dominant defensively today.

Besides Hayward getting that 3 drained in his face for having his hand down on a chucker. And giving Evans an And 1 in crunch time. Other than that he did do pretty good, but he let some big baskets get scored in crunch time.

C'mon, thriller. A win is a win. Sacramento is tough at home and Cousins and Thompson are beasts inside.
The Jazz kept a 10 pt lead until they got tight in the 4th quarter. Sure it was ugly. But it was a pressure situation. They could have easily folded when Sac took the lead. But the boys battled hard.

I think you're just mad there aren't hot chicks featured during the commercial breaks.

Secondly, Favors only got 21 minutes... He was down right dominate defensively. Despite playing fewer minutes than Jefferson, he did register more rebounds and blocks.

And Al got 26 points in 35 minutes. Some of you guys should learn to appreciate that our bigs have different skill-sets. Favors is a fantastic player, but offensively he has got tons to learn and Big Al was very, very good tonight. Having Al, Millsap, Favors and Kanter together is a blessing for this team, not a curse. They all learn from each other and a trip to the play offs this year will do wonders for everyone - including us fans.

I'm glad they pulled out the win.

It was pretty frustrating watching us only have 4 pts with 6:25 left in the 4th. The zone killed us. All we could do was spread the floor and launch 3s. We went 3-17! I hate when the Jazz go deer in the headlights vs the zone.

You can't put it just on Hayward. He was doing a great job, but you have to have help defense to truly contain incredible scorers. It is impossible alone when they are feeling it.

Kings are good home team.

They have killed Dallas, Memphis, Boston, and Minnesota this month. They are not an easy team to beat, especially of late.

You're right. I'm so stoked that we beat by 1 point the 2nd worst team in the entire WC.

And our starting frontline didn't get to the FT line once tonight. Nice job.

Ok, on Hayward's defense....what kind of a moron takes a contested 3 with a hand in his face in clutch time and when they're down by 2 with plenty of time in the game? Hayward was playing him safe so he wouldn't get a layup.
