JAZZ LAKERS EPSN GAME #2

From what I understand the Jazz haven't gone very deep in their playbook at all. It looked like we ran one action most possessions got stymied and then panicked the ball away.

Yeah. We aren’t running complex offensive sets. P&R with Gobert and dribble it off your foot or brick your jumper isn’t complex.

A few takeaways:
** Mitchell looks good. He knows when and how to drive. He's not settling for floaters. Going 10/10 from the line is a really good sign.
** Rudy had a game-high in rebounds and defended the rim well.
** I thought Royce did a good job of keeping Lebron in front of him and bodying him up. Lebron was taking tough turn-around fade-away jumpers.
** Jeff Green had a big opportunity to step up tonight and didn't.
** The Lakers dropped 1 and sometimes 2 bigs back to stop the Jazz's pick-and-roll, which made Ingles less effective.
** This would have been a good night for Bojan to just raise up and shoot from distance. Our guys apparently didn't feel comfortable shooting.

Holy ****...is Davis that bad on defense? I know +/- doesn't tell the whole tale, but -15 in just 10 mins tonight to follow up his -8 in 10 mins vs. the Thunder. Mudiay may have been the Jazz' best FA signing.

Sure glad League Pass is still on free preview mode. I thought the Jazz brought in shooters? As Jerry would have said, we have plenty of shooters, what we need are "makers."

And WTF has happened to Ingles? He's a superhero, alright...The Invisible Man. Sure glad we decimated the bench to get our missing piece.

That was a terrible game. I honestly can’t see this team being great for at least 20 games.

As bad as Conley has been on offense, I’m not that worried. Shots will start to fall. My bigger concern is on the defensive end. He just looks like he’s going to be a liability out there imo.

I think if conley doesnt pick it up and bogie doesnt produce were severely boned, because we lose a quite important piece in favors. His toughness was under appreciated and was the perfect center behind rudy. Also crowder, as much as you wana talk **** about crowder bricking 3s or layups, he was tough! He would body you up.
