Crowder's strong point is he really took care of the rock, rarely turned the ball over. Look it up.

If Conley stock is down 80% id be buying a few shares, he really will come around.... Tonight's game maybe.

Were ****ed.

We have 0 pnr game. We have nobody to play pnr with anymore. Favors was that guy to give us that dynamic aspect to our offense.

Now its just people barreling at the basket and people standing about.
I mean favors averaged 11 point per game last season and some of those points were from jumpers and put backs and free throws so how many points per game was he giving us on pick and roll? Like maybe 6 or 7?

The pacey and relentlessly speedy Sacramento Kings. ON a back to back.
They back to back too at least and also lost last night.

It’s one game. Conley is still out of sorts. And Bojan didn’t play. On the road vs a 0-1 Lakers team. Not a shock here. Disappointing but given everything, sort of expected. Not a huge deal.
agreed

Rudy/Donovan have looked good so far this season, so that's nice. Looks like we'll need Bojan back for any semblance of an offense though. He'll obviously be better than we've seen so far, but I'm worried for Conley :( Ingles being too passive again. Royce/Green duo have looked solid imo. Feels like we're mis-using Davis as a roll target, just get the shots up somehow and let him hit the glass.
I dont think rudy has looked good so far.
This is Goberts 7th season. So far this is his second worst season from the field (50%. Only his rookie year was worse) and worst season from the line (25%) and 2nd worst season getting to the line (2 attempst per game. Only his rookie year was worse).
Worst year of his career by far for blocks (0.5 per game).
Worst year of his career by far for turnovers (3.5 per game)
Worst year of his career for committing fouls (4 per game)
Worst year of his career for rebounding per 36 (11.8)
Worst year of his career for points per game per 36 (7.7)

Statistically Ruby Gobert is having the worst year of his career by far. Its obviously a small sample size and i dont expect him to continue his poor play, but so far he has sucked.

Conley will figure it out. If anybody is worried that we go 5-5 in the first ten, don't be.
I think we will be about 5-5 in our first 10 games. Those first 10 games are tough.

Disgusting to lay an egg on national television like tonight.

Expect a lot of over reactions because expectations are at record highs.

I wonder how long it will take for this team to click. Just wake me up when we are there.

Dude, I love you and know you stated it’s been just two games but there’s no point in citing stats so far. He goes 8-9 tonight and he’s looking fine.

I agree 100%
Look at the post I quoted. It said Rudy has been good so far this year. I was simply showing that isn't true. I'm pretty sure those stats help illustrate that.

I know we had no Bogey but for all the talk how potent our offense will be it looked like huge pile of *********. This game was Corbinesque ugly. No ball movement, absolutely atrocious unforced turnovers, forcing shots, going iso 95% of the time - that was not the Jazz basketball we all love. Ingles had not a single play run to get him an open 3 all game? vs pathetic lakers defense? I mean come on, all Lakers defense was Danny Green stealing 10 balls from our sloppy ballhandlers. Just puke worthy game.

This team was going to have some ugly comes to start out. Not sure why this is such a surprise for everyone.

Not a surprise to me. I thought we would lose last night

Sheesh, what an awful game. Gotta give lots of props to Avery Bradley and Danny Green. Their defense on the perimeter was the story of the game, I think. Well, that and the jazz just sucked.
No doubt. On both points. And I would add that LeBron was very LeBronesque
