Jazz @ Lakers - Sunday, March 18, 7:30pm

This is the best game of the season. Not because the Jazz are playing the youth and taking it to the Lakers, but because my wife is sitting here calling Harpring out on all of his stupid comments.

It is a win-win for me. The Jazz do something good and then my wife calls Harpring an idiot. I am a lucky man.

My wife has asked me if Boone is autistic.

Now I am curious what things Harping said that orangello 's wife thought were stupid....

(I like Harpring, I really do, I swear.)

I think we starting to see who Hayward is.

He drives to pass in the half court. If his jumper doesn't go in on the first two he won't be looking to score for the rest of the game. He sprints the court almost everytime and tries to get easy fast break buckets. He plays pretty good D.

Seems like this is who he is going to be long term. A good player but little star potential and 3rd offensive option at best. Unless he suddenly develops better body control and quickness going to the rim he isn't going to improve much more.

We are just starting to scratch the surface of what Burks, Kanter and Favors can do.

Harris has been playing better and better for a couple of weeks now. It makes a really big difference for our team.

It was interesting to see how a Millsap-Kanter combo helped to create space for Kanter to operate. I don't know how to find more minutes for Kanter and Favors. Millsap is playing great and Jefferson has been on an offensive roll.

In the middle of Millsaps second year (a 4 year college player) how many folks would have predicted he'd be a "near all-star" type player. Very Few (only those with good hindsight...) Gordon will probably (hopefully...) a millsap quality wing.

I was at the game. Amazing feeling to see Jazz win in Los Angeles. Throughout the game, whenever the Jazz would score, the place was silent except for me and the guy behind him (who was wearing a Webber State T-shirt).

For as good of a game as Kanter had I thought more people would mention his one handed dunk (since the last game he went up soft several times).
Also how nice will it be if LA and their fans ever see how the refs treat most other teams. Not saying the Jazz didn't get away with some fouls but the only thing consistent was the contact they allowed LA to use versus what they called against the Jazz.

Also when are all these dates going to happen, may I make a suggestion maybe y'all can go out together and do the group thing. Oh and that reminds lastly on the kool-aid usage, I plan on using it as lube on Trout while I'm picturing Burks taking it to the hole.

He was a 3 year college player. After watching almost every college game Sap played in, I was pretty much shocked he went so far down the draft. But I was so glad the Jazz got him - always been a big fan ever since Malone :)

Is Bell injured, really? Don't injured players usually travel with the team. I seriously saw Raja at the Cheesecake Factory yesterday. Or is this just an agreement between him and the Jazz to sit him out?
I seriously hope this is the case. If they have agree to just sit Raja the rest of the season with a fake injury I would be ecstatic. I don't know how long an Abductor takes to heal but I am praying for 2 months or so. Just till the Jazz are eliminated from the playoffs.d

Yeah, Millsap re-popularized the undersized PF position and made it OK to draft them again. I doubt Kenneth Farhied gets drafted in the first round without Millsap.

This is Hayward's second year. I am not ready to put a ceiling on his development.

Quoting the exception doesn't change the rule.

Who was the top 3-Pt shooter in the league last season AFTER the all-star break? It was Hayward. After such a miserable start, Gordon finished at 48.5%FG's, 47% 3PT FG's, 71% FT's. Admittedly he's struggled a bit with his 3's to date, but he's still shooting 45% overall and he's improved in all other categories. I'd say he still has a ton of upside given his age.

If he can be a more consistent shooter he will be very good. He has shot better from deep the last three or four games though. I love the fact that when he gets a rebound he is able to handle the ball racing down the court. When he does this good thing seem to happen. He's pretty good at getting to the line, and has really improved foul shooting quite a bit. Hayward will ge very good to great in the NBA. Hayward is only 21, and really his first full year with regular minutes in a lockout with a short training camp.

Also, I have to say, I watched this game on a stream with LA commentators-- they are so much better than Matt and Boler, its kind of ridiculous. They make sense, they say things how they see it without a homer attitude, and they don't try too hard to make cute little nicknames for every little thing that happens.

Must be nice to be able to watch basketball games without having to tune out your commentators.
