What's new

Jazz @ Magic | Wednesday November 10th @ 5:00pm

And to think that just 3 days back I would have been happy with a 1-3 road trip.
I said Miller should throw a party if the team went 2-2. They are already 2-0. I still think they deserve one for their performance already on this trip irrespective of what happens next 2 games

What's the deal with Hayward ?

Is he on the doghouse ?

He does not even seem interested on the bench.

Seems like aftern the blow up with dwell, the team got better and hayward regressed

I would like to see us develop him by getting him 10-15 a nite. Not 3-5

Thoughts?

When you say "on the doghouse," you mean things are heating up and to teach Hardwood a lesson, Sloan won''t let him in the doghouse, so he's on it instead, withering away in the sun?

Kirilenko is making big plays out there.

Right now I think it's probably a tossup between CJ and Hayward out there. CJ hasn't made a shot it what feels like a week or two. While I guess he's slightly more proven than Hayward.

However, ever so quietly is Kirilenko having huge effects on these games. His clutch 3's, hustle plays, and assists have been huge.

Agreed but AK needs to be crisper wwith some of his passes at times.

The annoying thing about your criticism is that you manage to ooze a smug superiority that isn't compatible with your status in this world as a basketball nobody.

This whole new persona of yours is easily the most irritating that the board has seen in the last seven years or so.

You have Kicky on ignore?

According to the Elias Sports Bureau, the Jazz are the first team during the shot-clock era to win three consecutive games after trailing by 10 at the half.

How about that? The comeback kids.

AK is consistently playing big minutes and he's making a major contribution.....

Wow, who would have thought it?

Major props to our beloved team over the past 2 nights. I also predicted 0-4 and I was wrong.

but...

If we don't start getting something from our bench, the starters will be burned out by January. We're pushing close to having one of the worst benches in the NBA.
This is one of many reasons to give the centers PT: to spare the playing time of the regulars, especially given that Mansap broke down on his first foray a few years ago.

Not sure how much DW can be benched, although has Watson really been given a chance? I wish that Price could be more consistent in running the offense, but it's gonna be unlikely that Deron will play less than 35 MPG anyway.

Gee, CJ has been hot and cold. Not sure how this can be remedied, although I'd like to see what happens if is moved into the strating lineup. As mixed has Miles and Bell's performance has been, not sure if Hayward wouldn't be a big drop down.

I'm sorry that you feel that way. I don't deny that my posts can sometimes be controversial at best. Many of my more heated messages come as a response to others who occasionally resort to personal attacks. To your credit, your lamentation is merely an attack and isn't laced with other unsubstantiated arguments.

If it's any comfort, I (and chicken littles) are be less inclined to criticize (or more inclined to dial it down or praise) when the Jazz win. Also, there are other Jazz-related websites out there if you prefer something that is a little more rah-rah or even plain-vanilla rant-rant.

Not really - see Darko Milicic. Joe Dumars is still having nightmare about it.

I should have referenced "in their rookie year". Obviously you don't want them on your bench their entire career, which would be because they don't develop at all.

He seems fine on the bench. I saw him really into the game in Miami cheering and clapping. I also noticed him first off the bench
to give Dwill a high five several times. Not sure where you are coming up with all this. I don't see any problem with him, or
any riff with Deron.

OK, why is everyone getting on IGS? Jedi got it wrong. He thought I was bagging on something that IGS said, but that's not correct.
It was TImmy who called Jerry Sloan senile that I had issue with.
