Actually, the Jazz still could possibly land Golden State's pick under this scenario. Remember, all 14 lottery teams have a chance to acquire a top 3 pick. Even if the Warriors were to finish 6th or 7th in the final standings, we would just need for one (if 7th place) or two (if 6th place) teams who finish 8th or higher in the final lottery standings to move into the top 3. That way, Golden State would be pushed back to @ least the 8th spot. We would get their pick under that scenario. The only way that we are not guaranteed their pick is if they land a top 3 pick in the lottery or if nobody behind them moves into the top 3 w/ them finishing 7th or higher in the final standings.
