Jazz @ Nets Nov. 5th 5:30 MT: Brandon Rush Might Play

Some high-low action? Who's fronting the Jazz bigs? Corbin hasn't shown a willingness to use Kanter in the high post, and defenders back way off Favors when he has the ball in the high post. With opposing defenses sagging way off Jazz perimeter players, and going under every screen, getting the ball to the bigs and getting anything going toward the basket is incredibly difficult. Jazz might have the worst perimeter talent in the league...again.

Since when has the high low only been used for when bigs are fronted?

It's the most ideal offense when you have 2 good bigs.

And you just made my point, Corbin is epic fail. If we have the worst perimeter players in the league, then why the hell are we running the high pick and roll? Get the ball out of the perimeter players hands! We're literally running the worst offense for our players. Us running the high P&R is like Golden St. running a slow low post based offense.

Just got home to watch......

Brandon rush? More like Brandon Mosey.

I think Ty should just do running plays to keep the clock running.

The Jazz don't have 2 good offensive bigs. Favors isn't any good from the high post because he can't consistently hit the jumper from there or effectively put the ball on the floor. Corbin's working Kanter into his spots, and apparently prefers him from just above the short corner and in the low post. With the offensive performances from Tinsley/JLIII and Jefferson, it might be time to give Kanter more responsibility and run the offense through him in the high post, but I think it's understandable that Ty wants to ease him into that role.

So Gobert misses 4 shots and 2 fts before fouling out. The 11 rebounds and 2 blocks are going to move him the ladder, however.
