You know what would be great?
Someone call the Jazz FO and try to set up a Jazz night out. Talk about a luxury box (or courtside seats), food orders, etc. for 30 fans. Try to have them e-mail a proposal detailing all the amenities and a price quote. Then when it's time to put up a deposit, send back the proposal and tell them the fan group has decided to go to a Real Salt Lake game instead because Checketts has a championship mentality, the team has a great head coach and they play their best players.

Don't fax it/e-mail it back to that guy. Send it to the attention of KOC or Lindsey (or even Greg Miller). Send it to multiple contact numbers or e-mail addresses in the Jazz organization. The mere mention of Checketts' name will make the Millers hyperventilate. They HATE him.

Didn't know that (sorry, don't follow major league soccer) . Still, the Millers tried to block RSL from coming to town because they felt another team would take dollars away from the Jazz. So apparently losing dollars to the "other guys" in town would still upset them.
 
This is sure to get right to the top. The dude trying to make a living while you jerk him around will go straight to Greg. Hell he might even fire Ty himself.

Yeah! Nobody besides a Miller messes with the livelihood of a Miller salesperson. If we add to Greggy Boy's plundering then he'll run out of sales people to screw over.

And you think calling in to sports shows or writing the Jazz will "get right to the top?" Cancelling your 2 season tickets gets back to Greg or KOC?
Of course not. But water cooler chatter sometimes gets overhead. And I guarantee the dude (or woman) working on group sales and the head of concessions, etc. would tell the story to colleagues, either laughing about being "punk'd" or complaining about doing work and then having the group back out.

And I'll bet a luxury box or large group reservation shows up on a weekly sales report to a manager, who would then become aware the following week when that sale came off the revenue projections.

I call in whenever they offer free tickets on 1280thezone trying to win them and then refuse them because the Jazz are too unwatchable.
