Jazz @ Nuggets AKA Get Back on Track Game

This is a bad track to get back on.

This team is unwatchable right now.

Hood is a mess. Hayward is sloppy and not shooting the ball well.
Withey is not an NBA Center. We clearly miss some energy from Booker/Johnson.
Favors is a lot more important to this team that I was willing to admit.

Hopefully when Hill comes back we can win some more games, but without Favors we arent going to do much.

Mack needs to sit the **** down for awhile. Hes played himself out of minutes, and I want to see him earn them back.

Time for more Neto.

hayward basically looks like a walking corpse out there. seriously, he looks bad. i think they're all feeding off his energy tbh. it was nice to see gobert with some fire tho.

this is why he will never be in the elite top players category. he acts like a choir boy. not enough fire. he can be shut down.

To me this is a repeat of last year... and the year before that and and the year before that and the year before that...

We keep waiting for this team to come of age. Supposedly the vets were going to fix that. That hasn't happened. Frankly, I think it's time to admit that this team is seriously flawed. Not enough shooters, no leadership, and zero toughness. I haven't seen anyone but gobert play with any Fire in weeks.

Exum has shown glimpses of toughness and aggression that is consistently lacking with this club. Last night he even showed the leadership to eventually be the go to guy. Those days are in the future though. The current crop of guys who we've seen "grow up before or eyes", just haven't brought it lately. I hope it really is fatigue.

problem is

0 inside threat...gobert has no offense game. 0 post moves, nothing.

teams know the scouting report on gobert. Now that Favors is out teams can just gameplay for our 1 dimensional offense.

Yep. We are a team full of talent, but no superstar. So while Hayward, Gobert, and Favors are all good players none of them can do it alone.
We are a team that relies of the sum of its parts to run. As much as I was willing to let Favors go because of his huge health concerns I realize
we are stuck. No Favors, no post game(or enough defensive rebounds) no chance. We either find a replacement or we resign him and hope his health pans out.

**** I'm salty.

I don't know we did pretty good without favors at the beginning. Without favors and Hayward in fact.

It wasn't our offense that lost the game last night. It was the complete lack of defense.

Yeah remember we brought in 3 vets who are going to lead us to the promised land. Not everyone bought into that hype. And without the one vet that is proving to be a true difference maker we are really struggling.

This is embarassing. The team could put forth some effort. This reminds me of the Trey Burke, DLeague dudes days.

I think you agree with me.
The problem is not only injuries. Injuries are like half of the problem cake...
Seriously you may see D League teams with better offensive sets and schemes. All i see is summer league stuff. Pick by the center, contested mid range shot by ballhandler. No passing no movement no nothing. It's ridiculous.
And then, how can we be dead last @pace by a large margin when we're playing with the likes of exum hood hayward lyles and gobert.
Come on, this is not the grizzliez or whatever. Why don't we run run run......

do you really think that young legs, a high-altitude home court, and athletic players can get out on fast breaks? (sarcasm)

Do our players want to run? Are they unhappy with Quin's offense? Are they too tired to care? How does the front office view the current situation? Is this physical exhaustion, a general malaise, or is it our scheme? Most importantly, is Quin doing enough with what he's got?
