Jazz offered Juwan Howard a deal

Howard's eyes widened when told of the high praise from Riley, and, seemingly embarrassed, he stumbled over an appropriate response. Yet he grew comfortable fast when asked why he turned down offers from his hometown Chicago Bulls, the Utah Jazz, and Portland Trail Blazers to start anew in Miami. As soon as Wade, Bosh and James signed with the Heat, Howard told his agent David Falk he wanted to be there, too.

Is Juwan Howard someone you would have wanted?

Not sure how we'd use him. He's not starter material any longer, and too slow to be on a high-energy 2nd unit. Maybe as a 3rd stringer. I suspect he might get more time at C than at PF in Miami. We coulda had the same idea and then not needed Elson...

Ignorance is bliss... we really dodged a bullet.

Thanks for picking Miami.

And KOC... if this is true: You suck!

Thank the lord this didn't happen. I'm trying really hard to think of a player I hate more than Juwan Howard.

Wait, Drew Gooden. But Howard is the second largest turd in the bowl.

Crap NO we don't want a stiff like Howard.

Just look back to the 2 series we played against Houston? Remember Howard's play in those series? If you can't remember, it's probably because he did basically nothing.
If you do remember, you remember him throwing up nothing but bricks.

I guess that we didnt make him an offer that he couldnt refuse haahhahhhaaahhhaaaahhhhaaaa!

That is a joke using a famous line from the motion picture "The Godfather" starring James Caan.

I'd like to be the first to call BS - Is it true just because he says so?

Maybe he was filler in some crazy 4 team "Real GM-like" sign and trade proposal - but I doubt he was made a firm offer by Utah.

Jazz were looking for another big.

Juwan Howard is another big.

No big deal to offer him a contract. No big deal that he declined.
