Jazz planning huge surprise with Vesely #3 and sleeper PG #12

Vesely is a prototypical draft bust. At 21 years of age, he is no spring chicken. Yet he is playing in absolutely atrocious Adriatic league and is averaging a whopping 10 points there. He has no 3 point range and is horrendous 54% FT shooter. I don't understand why a 21 year old guy, who is just average in a pathetic League, is being considered a candidate for top 3. Yes, he is athletic, but give me a break. He should not even be in lottery. If drafting Vesley at 3 is what KOC got up his sleeve, this franchise is in huge trouble.

So, just curious if anyone believed that Gibbles post was actually mine? Point was made, though, in order to find that which I am accused, one must fabricate it. Kudos.

You're a good sport. Ignore the haters. I haven't followed many of these threads so I have no idea whether you even want the jazz to draft Kanter or Knight.

I don't hate Vesely like some others do, but I hate, hate, hate him at #3. Of course, time will tell whether that is a correct assessment or not.

I'm on the record as saying I love them both (but from a 'got to know them and they're GREAT kids'). If I were picking, I wouldn't hesitate to take Kanter at #3. It's not that I hate Brandon at 3, but I would take him after Kanter. Just one guys opinion, but I feel it's Irving .. then drop, Williams and Kanter .. then drop, Knight and MAYBE Jonas .. then drop.

Why would we draft Jan? So he could maybe one day be as good as Kanter?

You people are being just plain silly with all these retarded draft suggestions.

If we go foreign and leave Kanter on the board, then this franchise deserves to lose every game next year.

How many more scouting reports, mocks, and experts need to remind us that the top 3 players (in no particular order) are Kanter, Irving, and Dwill.

Lets focus on these 3. Lets stop wasting time with these other guys who MIGHT someday be as good as these 3 players.

There must be a ton of morons out there besides the ones posting here, because Knight is #3 on about half of the major draft boards.

Yes yes we know. Why do you always have to justify your reasoning with a statement of this nature?

Why would we draft Jan?

Great question. Someone like Milan Macvan for instance (https://www.nba.com/draft/2011/prospects/milan-macvan/), who is also in this draft, played in the same pathetic Adriatic League at the same age, and posted far and away better numbers than Jan. It wasn't even close. Yet Milan is not a first round material. Even second round is not a lock, while Jan is lottery? No way. I hope someone does pick him though before our 12th pick, so better talent will be left for us. At #3 though it is a complete joke (and not a funny one if we are the ones picking this bust).
