Considering Boeheim is the one teaching his vaunted zone defense to the team, I would think that he has more strategy to "lose".

You think they don't know these guys coach? They've been doing it for decades man, they don't have too many secrets.
 
Is team USA playing Hawaii next? Srs didn't Puerto Rico vote to become a state like 2 years ago? What the hell happened with all that?
 
Well, I looked forward to the US exhibition games to see how Hayward looks and I didn't even get to see that.

Very disappointing.

Agreed. His only court time was up 36.

Never saw 1st half action.

Unless Coacjh K knows he is on the team since players 11/12 are more for practice than games ?

In case Parsons/Korver/Thompson got hurt or pull out?



I don't think Hayward is aggressive enough or shoots well enough to warrant selection, but to be fair, he should have had a bit more court time for having gone through all the practices, etc.

Next tweet said it was because Hayward asked about his status on the team after not being played. Sounds like he was kind of pissed and just wanted to know.

I would like to see a pissed Hayward play ball. Will it translate to the regular season?
 
Hayward did get screwed.

His game is NOT iso basketball and that is all Team USA has done for 3 days.

Frankly , it looks like he got screwed more for social reasons. He doesn't jump around like an idiot after every 3pt shot or dunk.

That's just the way he is.

If Team USA plays this way (Iso) , they will not win Gold.
