So it seems like we can have several players to follow at the World cup in Spain, starting at the end of the month. Rudy Gobert is most likely going to make the French squad, Dante Exum already did make the Australian Boomers squad, Gordon Hayward is in the last 16 of the US squad. Raul Neto will probably play for Brazil and Ante Tomic for Croatia.
Raul Neto just finished his participation in the South American Championship with Brazil, which is part of the preparation and weeding out process of the Brazilian team for the World Cup. These were his stats in 5 games:
25.4MPG, 10.2 PPG, 2.4 RPG, 2.2 APG, 2.4TO, 1.4SPG. He shot pretty bad at 36% from the field, and 16% from 3, 64% FT. The big names of the team(players from NBA for example) were not at this tournament, so he was the player with most minutes on the team. This I think, shows that they indeed were trying to give everybody playing time and were trying to make some selections for their WC team.
Brazil's schedule pre-World cup:

Dante Exum is with the Australian team. They just traveled to Europe yesterday and will play 9 exhibition/friendly games before the start of the world cup. That's great for Dante, he'd be able to get some playing time against men, rather than kids, even before the WC. Brock Motum, who's been invited for pre-season camp with the Jazz made the Australian team, too. Here's their schedule before the world cup:
According to this https://www.espn.com.au/australian-boomers/ ESPN will air 4 of those games.
Australia's schedule at the world cup can be found here:
https://www.fiba.com/basketballworldcup/2014/Australia#|tab=schedules_and_results
Rudy Gobert already started preparation with the French National team and had a great game against Belgium last week, scoring 16 points with 5/5 FG and 6/7 FT, 6 RBS, 2BL in limited minutes. Their schedule pre-WC is here:
So it seems like we can see Exum vs Gobert twice pre-WC.

Gordon Hayward is still with the USA team. As you know he took part in the scrimmage that took place last week in Las Vegas and did well with 7PTS, 3RBS, 3AST, 3STs. The team will have 4 exhibition games before the World cup:
August 16 vs Brazil at the United Center 95:78 | [boxscore]
August 20 vs Dominican Republic at Madison Square Garden 105:62 | [boxscore]
August 22 vs Puerto Rico at Madison Square Garden
August 26 vs Slovenia in Gran Canaria, Canary Islands

I don't think we'll ever see Ante Tomic in a Jazz uniform but here it is for the fans of "what could have been". He is starting for Croatia in their friendlies. He looks very skilled, but he still seems to have a weak frame. Here's Croatia schedule pre-World cup:
