Not that I am complaining since I live near Anaheim, but how come the Jazz always play the Lakers for that game at the Honda Center in the preseason. Is there some sort of deal or agreement that teams do for the preseason games?

The Raptors played the Nuggets a few years ago here in Edmonton for the preseason.

I wish the Raptors would square up with the Jazz. I'd lose my load.

I believe Kobe asked for some pre-season games closer to his house* and it also serves as a mini outreach to Anaheim area fans.

*I might be getting this confused with when he asked the Clippers if they'd be willing to play some of their regular season games in Anaheim if he signed with them back in 2004.
