I found it interesting how he did not want to comment if there was protections on the draft picks.

A few thoughts from the interview. In case you missed it or don't want to listen.

KOC was asked if this was the end of the moves, and he said he wouldn't be doing his job if it was. He said they aren't rebuilding right now, but they would be willing to take a sidestep to be more competitive.

Greg said there are no players in the no-trade area, and will do whatever to make the franchise better.

Greg said he was under the impression Deron didn't want to finish his career here, and respects that, but realized the Jazz needed to move on. He felt Deron thought he could obtain his goals in a bigger market, so he would end up leaving. But Deron nor his agent never said that.

KOC says they are in a process of still evaluating, and likes the core pieces they have.

Greg said he called Deron to tell him, and Deron just said alright, thanks.

Deron was informed last night a trade may be coming, and was told before it was confirmed this morning.
