Hearing that Jazz - - led by Greg Miller - - reached out to Carlos Boozer at midnight and dialogue will continue.

Even if Boozer does resign with the Jazz, I don't see it happening anytime soon until some of the elite FA's have signed contracts.

I find it interesting that Greg Miller is the one leading the talks, maybe it does imply what some people suspect on here, that KOC doesn't have much control on personnel decisions.

Yeah, I find that weird as well. Let the man do his job!

Although, maybe he's there to reassure Boozer that they're still committed to spending for a championship?
In this day and age, it's real hard not to go over the luxury tax threshold when building a champion.

You guys realize that Greg and Carlos probably have some sort of a friendship between them right? Enough with the conspiracy theories...this isn't Greg Miller calling Brendan Haywood whom he doesn't know at all.

They both have a friendship..... With Benjamin Franklin's portrait on a piece of green/brown/bage paper/cotton..... Boozer is gone.
 
greg should make that visit and or call, for the public image factor with the fans, and potential car buyers. If Boozer leaves, then Greg & jazz did all they could, if he stays then it is Greg's victory, and his leadership is legitimized.

+1. Also, depending upon how many phone calls were made at 10.00.01 MDT, there had to be more than one person making calls. To have Greg do this is a no brainer.
 
Greg apparently offered Booze a Klondike Bar in the hopes that the "what would you doooo for a Klondike Bar" slogan would ring true and Boozer would stay for cheaper..... Boozer didn't bite literally or figuratively.
