Yeah, I don't know. Building a team is always about top-heavy assets, and the Knicks are asking for TWO that are heavier than anything the Jazz could offer (besides Gobert).

If I'm the Suns, though, I pass on that, too. But this also tells us (assuming the source is legit) that the Knicks are actually active about this. Which is just nuts to me.

If I am the Suns you better believe that I am trading Booker for Porz. Booker's value is probably never going to be higher than it is right now, where he is taking ALL of the shots and getting such heavy usage. To win with Booker, you need to go all in on featuring him, like Houston does with Harden. It isn't really working with Harden (at a championship level anyway) and Harden is better than Booker.

Porz just checks so many boxes with his defense, length, and shooting, he allows you to do so much that you will never be able to do with Booker. If I am the Suns, I try to see if I can give up Booker but keep the #4. If I can't I still take that deal.

Great I think Rose has always been over rated as hell also, and I laughed when the Knicks got him. That said Mello hasn't really done anything when not paired with AI. He puts up stats but I'd argue all of his teams under performed compared to their talent level (even those Denver teams).

No it couldn't. The only reason to trade Porz now is if someone offered a deal JACKSON couldn't refuse. Jackson might be keeping his ears out on alert for can't miss deals, but that's about it
