I've seen this guy play three times on NBA TV, he is an amazing shooter with a pretty good handle. Earlier in the year, he was leading the D-league in scoring. I think he will be fun to watch. I thought he penetrated well and he could help us.

I take D League stats with a heavy grain of salt, but his free throw shooting is impressive.

To put it in perspective, Ray Allen's best free throw shooting percentage season was when he got 95.2%.

And I was just about to post that the Jazz should go after Ahearn in the "Sign Junior Sapp for the rest of the season" thread.

I've only seen him play in the D-League all-star game, but he was scoring at will. Yes it was an all-star game, but the D-Leaguers actually TRY in their all-star game because of reasons like this - they want to come out of the break with an NBA contract like Gerald Green did.


Great great great signing. I hope he can produce and they can keep him around long term.
