What's new

Jazz Sign Ian Clark

Damn the kid can shoot. A little funky shot but its a quick release which is important. Seems to be a good passer and slasher as well. Locke says he was all the best defender in his division.

Seems like a really good all around player. Maybe our new Wes Mathews?

Wait, wait, we snatched him from Golden State's summer league team? ??

HAHAHAHHAAHAHHHAHAHOHOHOHOHOHHEHEHEHEHEHHEHEHEHE

The fleece continues! Tank will you? We'll use your pick for the best point guard in the draft. Then we'll steal two more first round picks and some second round picks while actually USING the players you guys are throwing away. Now we will take an undrafted diamond right from under your noses.

Classic.

Good thing is our summer league team next year just got a lot better. I think it is a low risk moderate reward type deal. A team can always use shooters and he seems like he can make shots and play defense.

So I just realized that I still have summer league pass. Looks like I've got some summer league games to watch now....

Small school seniors often get overlooked in the draft. I'm not sure how effective he'll be, but I have no problem with them bringing in guys who can shoot the ball and defend. He was outstanding at both in college. It sounds like he has some skills to work with if they can coach him up. Great move to fill out the roster with cheap, young guys that have upside but no strings attached. Good pickup to add to the bench. I'd probably send him down to the D-League for the whole season just to get more minutes and experience against quality opponents. He likely won't see the floor much this year otherwise.

If Golden State cut Murph the Jazz can resign him to try and make the team.

Sadly, I recall media folks saying that the vibe was the Jazz weren't going to keep him anyway. Guess he just couldn't cut it in the NBA.
