Jazz Sign Ian Clark

True, in some contexts it is meant to mean a multidimensional scorer.

If I would ask you "who was the Jazz leading scorer last year" most people would answer "Al Jefferson"

But would some people who believe that Big Al was not multi-dimensional scorer (no 3s, very few FTs) would they say "Gordon Hayward"?

The way the term scorer is used is not absolute, it is subjective and depends on context.

Peace brother.......

Dude, just admit you're wrong.

But Al Jefferson is a multi-dimensional scorer. He has a multitude of post moves, can hit a jump shot, gets points off of rebounds...this isn't that hard.

Players like Korver get their points from jumpshots that are set up by other players. They aren't creating anything, pretty much all they do is shoot jumpers.

Good lord, just agree to disagree. However a scorer is someone who may not shoot efficiently but still is (usually) able to score efficiently and it is usually agreed that the scorer creates their own shots whereas a shooter is a catch and shoot, off a screen or maybe a dribble or two then shoot.

Surprised nobody posted Lindsey's quote from his Friday interview.

He couldn't comment on the Clark signing, and said as much without naming names. But he said there were a couple of player moves the Jazz were waiting to announce maybe next week.

Let the wild speculation begin about what the other moves are....

you win, I'm wrong

I concede defeat. No one ever refers to a one-dimensional shooter las a scorer. Never. Ever. Never.

This seems to be bothering you, brother... that you're wrong. So I would like to throw my lot with you as to not further disparage you from posting your sincere thoughts in the future... because you are a damn good contributor.

Not bothered a bit, brother, thanks for the nice comment.

I don't post here often, but I don't like this guy. He has Chucker J. Miles written all over him.

Well then, my posts are not only wrong, but they can't spell either. This is my second post in the Jazz forum in... maybe... 6 months?

Well i was referring more to the fact that prob 2000 of your post on this board have something to do with "Chucker J Miles" here in the Jazz forum more than how often you happen to post now.

Forreal?

Tomic, snitches.

I had not even thought of him. Lindsey has used all of the other assets, so maybe.....

Just a reminder. Draft picks can be traded 30 days after the draft, regardless of when they signed. Sunday July 28th is 30 days. Next week.....
