He's not that old, he's younger than Jeremy Evans, so if he produces he can be part of the future. Or he could just be insurance until Burke comes back. Who knows, but there must be a reason that they picked him so I'm all for it. Hopefully he won't get in the way of Raul next season if he gets a new contract.

I was informed that 10 day contracts don't start until January. So he's not limited to that, but the team could cut him fairly easy.
