Jazz Sign PG Eric Green

You only sign a player to two 10-day contracts. After that you have to offer them a contract or not have them anymore. So we have a maximum of 20 days to work him out before deciding if he will spend his off-season training under the Jazz's wing.
That's what I meant. 3 weeks = 21 days. If you do back-to-back 10 day contracts, you basically get 3 weeks to evaluate them and see if they're a fit or not.

Nice to see Green back for another 10 days at the very least. I hope he gets some more playing time. It would be interesting to know how he performs in practice and how he gets along with the other Jazzsters.

Could Green be part of the reason Neto is playing better. A little more competition and the position so Neto is stepping up a bit more?

I think it has more to do with Neto getting acclimated to the NBA speed and talent. The game seems to be slowing down for him and he's developing a good chemistry with Gobert, Favors and Hayward.

I liked what I saw while he was on the floor, not the best but not "I'm screaming at my TV bad".

The Jazz will wait to see what happens with the trade deadline before deciding what to do with Green. If they make a trade, they might have to bring back filler (which means no roster spot). If they stand pat, then I think he's done enough to get signed through the rest of the year. Probably a 3 year deal with no guarantees - like Millsap, Cooley and Cotton last year.

The Jazz might want to keep him. I think there are undefeated since he joined the roster as nothing else but a good luck charm.
