Jazz sign Thabo Sefolosha

Solid pickup if a little injury prone. Can't say I'm not delighted that the Jazz aren't throwing in the towel this season by going strictly youth movement. Can't lie though, would have preferred a Mbah a Moute signing. Still, this guy was very, very good a couple of years ago before the NY Police fiasco. Perhaps the magic of the Great Salt Lake will be the elixer of youth and regeneration for this old vet as it was for JJ.
Jazz are putting in a hot yoga room at the training facility...

wasn't that team a half-game away from making the playoffs? Sloan should have won Coach of the Year that season.

Yes. The team was predicted to be the worst team... ever. It was a coaching masterpiece. AK and Harpring were the best players on the team... unbelievable.

I like this. Something we needed... We need someone to guard 3's as asking Joe Ingles to do that night in night out is just going to burn him out and all we need from him offensively is to hit open 3's.

Maybe it's just me, but it seems like the Utah Jazz will pretty much do the same 2 things over and over again for the rest of their existence: Try to hit it big on draft night and make signings exactly like this one. I'm not saying this is a bad thing as I actually like the signing. It's just that I saw the headline, and it felt exactly like the past signings of guys like Marvin Williams, Joe Johnson, etc.

Every offseason I seem to reset and feel like there's a tiny chance the Jazz will pull off a super sexy signing or be involved in some sort of blockbuster mega-trade. Then, by the end of the summer I've made peace with the measured, responsible way in which they handled their offseason.

True, so I guess they have 3 moves in their repertoire. That totally falls in line with how things are done around here. Hit it big with Stockton and Malone, make a midmajor trade for Jeff Hornacek, then go sign an Antoine Carr. Rinse, repeat.

Again, I'm not knocking it. It's just one of these years, Utah's gonna actually make a Chris Paul or Paul George type of trade or simply sign a FA superstar that we felt would never consider Utah and I'll be so shocked, I might die.

Another player that will defend Donovan Mitchell in practices. Could be huge in the development of Mitchell's offensive game.

Al Jefferson?

Thabo's highlights are better than Gordon's highlights. Thabo > Haywood

Was that the year Doc Rivers won coach of the year? And then got fired thevery next season like 12 games into the season after losing to the Jazz?
