Jazz@Sonics Game 5 96 WCF

Jazz trailing 3-1, with Seattle already looking forward to NBA Finals, the jazz pull of a improbable road win.
Not exactly a highlight filled game, it was a offensive struggle through most of it. Stockton was not himself at all in this series, as he was slowed by injuries. But you see the jazz come together as a team and get some great performances from guys like Hornacek, Malone and Antoine Carr. It was the jazz first ever road victory in the WCF.

Game 6 of that series is in my top 5 games attended of all time. One of the 2-3 best Delta Center crowds ever.

Man, Hornacek was so talented. It's a shame we got him on the back end of his career and injuries were a constant hindrance.

I still love those classic jerseys.

Yet another awesome Prodigy post (YAAPP). Thanks a bunch! Brings back some memories. So close to three straight with the dreaded Bulls.

As always, excellent work Prodigy.

Was that Adam Keefe in a few of those plays? Agggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhh........

This series remains one of the most painful Jazz memories for me . . . thanks for bringing it all up again prodigy.

yes this was such a heartbreaking series. Malone missing the ft's at the end of game 7, then being interviewed right after it was over.

I cried after game 7 of that series. I was like 10 years old and I really thought the Jazz were gonna go to the finals.

I found this video of the very end of the triple overtime against the bulls. I still want to find a full version of the game if anyone has it.

Yeah. It's the loudest game I've ever attended. I think game four of the 1997 NBA Finals bests this one at the end, but this game was certainly epic.

An amazing series. One of the best WCF in history.
