What's new

Jazz @ Suns October 25th 8pm Mountain Time

Favors should be killing it, I just don't see the passion tonight. Also Rubio needs to tighten up his game, I'm his no.1 fan but he's turned the ball too often this game, ugh

I find this take from fans very odd. Favors cares and plays hard. For example if this he worked hard on his passing this off season to make our offense function better and takes pride in it according to Snyder. That has definitely shown this year.
Watching him you'd never ever think that. He stands around way to much. He never takes advantage of guards guarding him. He can pass and that's all he does cause he's to soft to try and score.

Favors, Johnson, Ingles and Sefalosha have combined to score 4 pts on 2/11 shooting. That's not good. Jazz need a forward to score the ball.

He has been one of our top scorers for his time on the court and gets almost no plays ran for him. He has been one of our best players so far this season. You just have a strong hate for him no matter what he does. Even a couple years ago when he was playing at close to an all star level you wanted to trade him away and didn't like him.

Count me as another person - and I LIKE Favs - who just doesn't see it. Favs is not playing great defense. He doesn't have much energy. Jazz have to end the experiment and bring in a shooter.

Quin needs to get into Ingles head and convince him it'll be good for the team if he just jacks up 10 3's a game. Seriously

It's not just him either. We need to bomb from 3 early to find anyone who can shoot that night. If our 3's are falling, it opens things up inside. If they aren't, we have nobody who can really get to the rim. This is where Utah misses Dante Exum. He can take the ball from the perimeter and get to the hoop better than anyone. If Joe Johnson is hitting shots, then he can get inside with bully ball, but Utah misses Exum's ability to get to the hoop when they can't shoot from outside.

Bomb from 3 early Quin, or this is gonna be a long year.

I don't want to trade him until the deadline. But at this rate, what is he doing for us other than delaying Jerekbo's chance to find his fit and Johnson getting on track.

Lol, he is our best pf by a lot. We can't trade him without bringing in a good PF without a drop off.

I'm so flapping tired of hearing people talk about how hard Favors has worked and how he has improved. Yada yada yada

He doesn't do ****. We could pay a ton of NBA players half his $12 to provide what he does. He is supposed to work hard. He is supposed to improve

23 million for Favors and Burks. They combined for 2 points and 3 rebounds.

I don't hate Favors. I understand modern day basketball which means I understand that you cant put a slow big man with limited range next to a slow big man with limited range. Its not ****ing rocket science.

Our offense struggles mightily because of that dynamic.

yup, his ability to get to the line would have been real handy, particularly with Mitchell looking likely to take a while to find his feet offensively

Per minute he has been our best scorer this season next to Hood. So really our best so far. That is without the team running any plays for him. Most the plays they run for him are up high to create space for him to pass. Snyder talked about in in detail in the pregame interview today.

rubio is top 4 in turnovers in this league after today.

we are 24th worse in the league at taking care of the ball.. we average 18 a game. last season was 13.

If he is that good, why do we run plays for Gobert and not him? If he is that good, how does he have 2 points and 3 rebounds in a half? Against Phoenix?

Why is our offense and defense better then with Favor's and Gobert or Favor's and Udoh them Gobert and JJ?

Favors as Udoh have been our best bigs combo so far this season.

Modern basketball doesn't require a big that can shoot 3s.

Who is this magically pf that is available that isn't a drop off at defense that can shoot the three like you want and is available?
