Actually man, its more logical to assume a player would fall below the top 20% of a draft class. That is logic in its most basic form. If you have 12 people in one group and 32 people in another group which is the most logical choice for which one a person would be in? If you want to claim that this is not logical then I am not sure what I can do for you.

It's hard to say who might fall to #12. Of all the sites out there, I think draft express is as reputable as they come. They have Jimmer ranked 17th. Here's the list of players they have ranked ahead of him. Of course, that doesn't mean that the Jazz couldn't have Jimmer ranked in their top 12, but I don't think it's a stretch to assume that someone might be available at 12 that they prefer over Jimmer.

Both where great shooters/scorers playing in smaller conferences for smaller schools. Curry has been pretty good thus far into his career, so what will prevent Jimmer from having a similar career? Again, this is a legitimate question, I never watched Curry that much in college so I cant really make any conclusions.

I won't argue he could be starter material, but note any star level player who won this was only a freshmen or sophomore at the time. It's safe to say the recent seniors that won it, JJ and Tyler, are not starter quality on a championship caliber team. The devil is in the details, have to be careful.

Impressive list, but how many of these guys walked in and dominated college basketball from day one, and how many of them took three or four years to figure it out. There's a big difference between the two. Count me among those who don't believe Jimmer will be the best at 12, but I will be satisfied with/resigned to the pick because of the marketing impact and because he fits so well culturally and on one end of the court (assuming he can become a better distributor, which I think he can). I have zero expectations for his defense so I'm hoping Bismak is standing behind him making life miserable for those who walk by..
