Jazz throttle the Spurs at their place game thread

He's overrated. Look how Ja is playing with the same basic roster as a ROOKIE. If Mike was a borderline all star and Ja is a Borderline all star why is Memphis so much better this year?

OK you're saying Conley is overrated. Does that mean we should give up on a guy that will cost us 32 Mil. this and next season?

what specific calls weren’t called correctly?
Rudy and Donovan have been fouled multiple times at the rim with no calls.

Again, it's possible to say the refs have called a poor game while also recognizing that the Jazz ought to have played better for that not to matter. Both things can be true.

So we start losing once we start playing good teams again. Perhaps the only impressive win in the past 20 games or so was against the Clippers. I was going to count the Pacers game too, but they were playing a back to back, so maybe that game shouldn't count.

Barring a significant trade before the all star break, I don't think this team will make it very far this year.

Ehhh, it's always tough to win in san antonio.

Now beating a depleted Rockets team on your homecourt. That should not be so tough.

I remember Harpring talking about the jazz hitting some adversity. Well it's here. How do we respond tommorrow?

It's not blaming the refs to say they've dicked us.

The Jazz definitely didn't play good enough tonight, but honestly the refs were terrible. Of course it's a Tony Brothers crew so we shouldn't expect anything else.
All I want is consistency. Can’t let DM get crushed then call a hand on a hip foul on a fade away jumper or the Niang call where there was minimal contact and he was in guarding position but they react to the miss and guess... that’s fine but then guess that DM ain’t gonna miss that stretched out layup unless he gets hit.

Look not a lot went right the officiating was the most frustrating thing... them making everything they threw up was second, having the deflection for a three and the offensive rebound for a three was a back breaker... especially when Mike and Joe has wide *** open threes they bricked in that sequence.

Because Ja is the real deal. Jaren Jackson is healthy (missed like 30 games last season) and has improved a lot. Dillon Brooks is also amazing this season (didn't play last year). Brandon Clarke is very good. So, Memphis has a much better, healthier and deeper team this year. So you are incorrect in saying is the same roster.

Name 1 player who's benefited from Mike playing this year. I'll wait.

Mike’s investment advisor and his family... that trust fund gonna be noice.

I havent seen these fouls. Gobert has brought the ball down low giving Patty Mills easy steals. I haven’t seen any egregious errors when Mitchell has driven inside.

nonsense. Plus they’ve called more fouls on them and we’ve shot more free throws. If the refs really had it in for us that would not have happened.
We have been going at the basket all night while they shooting midrange shots... be better.

With a blowout loss

Jazz were +8 on rebounds, +5 on made FTs, +6 on made 3s, and yet we lost because they shot so well from mid-range. I bet we outscored them in the paint as well.

The Spurs are just an odd duck of a team.

That said, we really couldn't guard DeRozan for some reason. Joe was better at it than anyone else.
