Jazz to officially unveil new colors and logo today

Well, here is something I found contradicting the Deseret News report that the note is our new "primary". And judging by the home/away wordmarks, I'm guessing that's the font going on our jerseys.

Perhaps the jerseys then will look something similar to these shirts?

Don't like the road wordmark, just doesn't look right ..i think if they took the gold outlines off the font it'd look fine. The home one looks good.
 
The wordmark logo looks a lot better with just the background color there instead of the silver shading/outline.
 
I know they don't start selling the jerseys until August, but they could have at least showed everyone what they will look like.

They were pretty up front about not unveiling the jerseys until August. Anyone who is upset about it wasn't paying attention and I feel no sorrow for you.
 
I'm a little let down. The Note logo is pretty cool, but everything else seems a bit off. I like all the colors used, but
they just don't seem to work together here.

I still think this note looks cooler, but the new note is pretty good too.

I think they'll get rid of the mountains in a year or two so I'm not too worried about that.
 
People need to calm the **** down. I'd be willing to bet that the mountain logo will "officially" be our main logo for the time being but the music note for all intents and purposes will be what we the fans actually see 99% of the time. We already know the music note will be on the jerseys, and it looks like the note will also be on the court in some form or another. I think people need to stop worrying about the rehashed mountain logo. It seems like more of a loophole with the league to avoid a heavy fine. I doubt we ever see it displayed prominently in any form other than the occasional baseball hat or novelty shot glass.

I guess my question is why release a update to the mountain logo that makes it much worse looking? makes us look bad. but whatever
 
The note obviously looks the best so far... and yes, its just a logo people.

I really do wish though that they had stayed with the baby blue and just updated the jerseys.
