Jazz to trade Jefferson. Enes to start.

Took my girl to the Nightwish concert tonight, and before heading over to the Complex, we stopped at The Atlantic, a Mediterranean restaurant on Main Street. We sit down, order our food, and start to eat. I hear someone come in, and I glance over to see Enes Kanter and another white guy (wasn't Chris Quinn, could be Butch, or maybe just a trainer, had gray nike basketball shoes) sitting down at the table across from us.

The owner heads over to the table, and says, " Enes, my man, what can I get for you today?" He orders some white drink, some vegetable, bread thing, and an extra plate of another dish. I only picked up a couple words of what he ordered.

When we leave, we stopped by his table and talked for a bit.

"So you going to show us what you can do this year Enes?

"Absolutely man!"

"I'll be at the scrimmage on Saturday so I'll see you guys there.

"Great!"

My girlfriend said something about not wanting to disturb him.

"No, no worries. Its cool."

"Now you're going to be starting by the end of the year, right?

"Definitely!"

White guy adds, "Yeah, he definitely will when they finally trade Jefferson."

"Well, good luck, see you guys Saturday."

Damn straight. You heard it here first.

Iam sure that random white guy asked for some playboy girls of Enes' and Enes said "why not? I change them more than my clothes".

It's funny, because I can't see Kanter starting even if Jefferdad is traded. They'll probably just move Fave to the 5 and run things through Sap at the 4.

You should've taken pictures, would've made your story more credible.

Go back and watch the Jazz-Lakers game (without Jefferson) from last season. The ball/player movement almost looked like a proper Utah Jazz team. W/O Jefferson, I imagine the offense would look a hell of a lot different (quicker, more complex, etc.).

If this is true, it just shows what the rest of the team is thinking. I bet Everyone on the Jazz is praying Jefferson gets traded. No one in their right mind thinks Jefferson is good for the team. Only people who only know stats and nothing about winning basketball.

So it appears Kanter has given up on blondes and brunettes and is now going out with randon white dudes.

Someone make a quick trip over to his house and tell me if there are fresh-cut flowers in the entryway and they can hear Streisand music in the background.

I worry about the whole Enes situation. So far, all I've seen to recommend Enes is hype. When I see him produce on the court, then I will begin to be a believer. Let the season begin and see if Enes can live up to the hype. His summer league performance was underwhelming to say the least.

Enes did produce when he played. No one can doubt that he is a good rebounder. He showed at least that much.

Enes seems to be living the high life right now, and that's understandable (see Wilt). However, it's going to grate on people if he is still underwhelming, so before his buddies claim that he needs to take Al's spot as a starter, he needs to prove it in practice at least. He also needs to not lead the league in worst assist ratio, which is what he did last year according to Hollinger.

Dude, the man was trying to eat. Didn't want to be a dick.

Obviously we were just joking about the starting and trade, we all just laughed.

This story is so obviously made up.

I've been here nearly 6 years now Marty, If I was going to make up a story about meeting a Jazz player, I would have done it years ago.

If that white guy was Kevin O'Connor it would be newsworthy but what was Enes`s reaction to that? Was he like "Hell Yeah! All drinks from me!" or he was just unresponsive?

He didn't say much. Just said definitely and smiled.

But ****, losing 51 pounds in two months? Maybe he is going to start this year. Hopefully his conditioning improved too.
