Jazz trade Dennis Schroder to Pistons

"Golden State has officially traded Dennis Schröder to the Detroit Pistons, who also received Lindy Waters III and a second-round pick from the Warriors. The Pistons announced the move as “part of a series of transactions,” part of the mega-trade that saw Jimmy Butler dealt from Miami to Golden State.

For the Pistons, the trade also saw KJ Martin relayed from Detroit (who acquired Martin from Philadelphia) to Utah with a second-round pick."

Yup, we never had him.
I don't understand being so hung up on technicalities that don't matter

Many topics covered, but probably not worth a new thread, so I'll put this interview with JZ here

Trade deadline, Collier/Filipowski, KJ Martin, what to do about next year's protected pick, among the topics discussed

Confirms we had Dennis @Hedda Gambler
This matters exactly 0%, as you've said, but I don't think that was the issue. I think we all agree that Shroeder was part of the process in what the Jazz picked up, but I think what Hedda was addressing was whether the "official" account of the trade on the NBA's records included him.

Yes. We had the agreement in place, but before the trade became official, we sent him to Detroit and Schroeder was never officially a part of the Utah Jazz as far as I can tell.

As we all can agree on, this does not matter at all. My mind is juck a ****ing wasteland from time to time and I get these sort of hang ups.

We'll miss you Dennis, you will always be a member of Danny's all legend squad
