Jazz trade for John Collins

Not last year's version of Collins. Go agreed and pull the stats. Hendricks are better I guarantee it
Fwiw they played similar amount of minuets and Hendricks averaged more points, more rebounds, more steals, more blocks, more assists and was more efficient.

Hmmm.....something feels off about this numbers comparison. I wonder what it could be lol.

Some one give me the TLDR summary... I will pay you with a like or a love depending on quality tia.
He needed rest(the finger being put in a brace for extended period of time) to allow better recovery. Atlanta decided to play him through it risking worse/permanent damage. No idea what his condition is now.

Among players active in each of the past six seasons, Collins is one of just five to average 15 points on 55%-plus shooting, according to ESPN Stats & Information data. The other four are Nikola Jokic, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Jonas Valanciunas and Domantas Sabonis.

You can get a decent look at his finger at 0:31 in this highlight video. Doesn't look perfect but seems reasonably ok.

Actually I guess that is not last season but the season before (2021-2022). So that video was not relevant.

Probably thinking about how the NBA game is way faster pace with more scoring and more possessions so Collins numbers are a little inflated in this comparison.
