my guess: bolmaro, woodard, tillman, smith, maledon. those aren't necessarily the guys i want, but i wouldn't be surprised if the jazz took one of them.

Anybody old enough to remember Puss Mannion? Or, his fan club?

In 1983, a group of Rice University students at Wiess College started the Pace Mannion Fan Club after watching him trip over his own feet while taking a breakaway layup during the NCAA playoffs. The fan club would attend Mannion's NBA games in Houston and occasionally San Antonio, and would scream for Mannion to play, normally only to see him get a few minutes of floor time.

On January 14, 1986, Mannion and the Utah Jazz came to play the Houston Rockets, who had a 20-game home unbeaten streak. About 125 members of the Pace Mannion Fan Club attended the game. The fan club cheered "Pace, Pace, he's our Mannion" all night. Utah coach Frank Layden sent Mannion into the game early in the fourth quarter. By the time the game ended, Mannion had 13 points. The Jazz won the game 105-102.

Also love the 38th pick. That's the prime value spot in this draft IMO. Jazz could get a 1st round talent there. Praying for my guy Jalen Harris.

Chad Ford mentioned that Jazz like Tillman and Pritchard as well the other names we've heard for #38 in his last pod.

Oh, man, when us New Yorkers bought Manhattan from the Indians for just 24 bucks I always thought that was the greatest rip off in history. You gave us the 23rd pick and for our 27th. You do realize 23 is better than 27 in draft positions, don't you? Well, clearly you don't.

I guarantee you that 23rd pick of ours is going to be a Hall Of Famer. Two years from now when that is obvious I want all of you to come back to this thread and admit you got royally rip-offed by us New Yorkers.

Tyler Bey, Jaden McDaniels, Zeke Nnaji, Theo Maledon, Robert Woodard....it's unlikely Josh Green slips that far.

For you people here who know nothing about basketball, let me remind you how great the 23rd pick has been. These guys were all 23rd picks....and you gave that pick to us. What fools you are. Look at this list of 23rd picks and be angry at the Jazz for giving up the highly coveted 23rd pick:

Alex English
AC Green
and, get this, one of the top three players to ever play the game of basketball was drafted 23rd..wait for it...
Ervin Johnson. Yup, Magic was drafted 23rd in the 1993 draft (look it up)

You literally gave up Magic Johnson to the Knicks tonight. Oh, man. Why are you still Jazz fans?
