Interesting. I was recently told the Jazz tried to trade for Mario Chalmers this offseason and the Heat didn't bite.

I think Treys days are numbered. Does anyone have a photo of Treys recent Instagram post about him not being appreciated?

In other tweet news, Favors with flu like symptoms. Questionable for tomorrow.

That sucks. Luckily, i think we win with or without him tomorrow

Interesting indeed.. Reminded me of my first post in this thread.. There were rumors flying about Chalmers then too. https://jazzfanz.com/showthread.php?42550-What-PG-do-you-want-the-jazz-to-go-get/page7

LOL at all the George Hill responses, He's 29!!! He's too far ahead of timeline the Jazz seem to be working around to give up the type of assets Indi will want back for him. Plain and simple, **** that.

Hate to say it (I'm not gonna say I want the Jazz to go get him) but the proper response to this thread is Mario Chalmers. He'd be an easy sell to the fans because of his championship pedigree, and because he's just a rental. Most importantly he can probably be had for a pittance, (Miami is over the tax threshold correct??) so its minimal risk.

Interesting. Chalmers is getting 10 MPG less this year. I wonder what Utah offered Miami?

Likely just to assume his salary and give some sort of protected 2nd round pick. It will save them boatloads of tax money. I'm not convinced on him... I think his motivation wavers.

Chalmers looks to be on the block now. Trade rumors suggesting Memphis is going after him. I would love Chalmers if we didnt give up any decent player or a first round pick. Maybe the GS or OKC pick could be worth it.

Trey Burke is playing better than Chalmers. Those who want him subscribe to the grass is greener principle. I don't think he's that great. He's played next to transcendent offensive talent his whole career. Those advocating for him would likely turn on him very quick once they watched him more.

If Memphis is really doing this I'd actually rather call on Udrih who is better than Chalmers.

Jazz fans are idiots. Whats going happen when Trey goes elsewhere and performs well????????? He isn't appreciated by you people at all. Actually ill go as far as to say he is disrespected by many of you

What a worthless move getting Chalmers would be. I'd rather get Lin, and I don't want Lin at all.

Chalmers is a downgrade. The Trey hate has officially gone full retard.

Outside of the very first game Trey has been almost exactly what we need. My major issue with his first game was his defense on Blake, which sounded like he was trying to follow the game plan but just gave too much space.

PG isn't our biggest issue imo... getting a really good third big or having Booker pick up his play. Chalmers wouldn't be the answer.

Now if Miami wanted to dump McBob on us I think I'd gladly take him even though he's been awful to start the season.

The heat have been trying to move Chalmers for cap relief so I wonder what the Jazz offered. Must have been bad. You'd think one of the Jazz's many 2nd rounders would have gotten it done.

Wow. I'm assuming that would have been post-Exum-injury.

Chalmers to replace Exum would make total sense as Exum's floor is probably Chalmers (His ceiling Penny Hardaway). Chalmers brings similar length on the defensive end and has long arms like Exum. He can also hit a set three point shot. The offensive flow would not change very much between Chalmers and last season's Exum. Exum didn't have much confidence last season, so the offense would probably improve as Chalmers is a vet and has a big ego.
