Kanter is a ghost, hasn't done anything good on the court for a while.

Burks was not that good tonight.

Favors still can't seem to fix his propensity for turnovers. He makes nice looking plays but turnovers are a killer. DFave has to fix this.

These statements are true, and i dont mind favors and kanter not playing much because as much as i like the four youngins, jefferson and millsap are better right now than favors and kanter.
Burks however is a different story. If he isn't playing that good then just leave him in. There arent any other good options at shooting guard and watson and tinsley taking his minutes is a bad idea.
Sometimes you need to leave the young guys in when they make mistakes and then they can learn from them. When the vets play poorly they still get thier usual minutes.

I know my views on this issue are very unpopular but what is happening now is that the time is over for creating minutes for young prospects. Kanter just isn't going to play much. Burks has only been good in spurts. Favors has been great at times but is not reliable like the starters are and is also turnover prone. It is what it is. Ty is working to extend the season. Period.

You all can hate Ty and want him fired but he will not be fired. Feel free to tell me how stupid you think I am but the facts will remain the same. I should say that there are compelling arguments to be made for Favors but at the end of the day I personally do not think he is better than Al or Sap right now.

But that's just like, my opinion, man.
 
Is it too late for me to comment on the end of game defense by Hayward?

If not, then I want to say that Hayward played spectacular defense in the final minute of the game. He saved the win.

If it is too late then-- uh, dang why didn't Ty Corbin......uh, um.....use those other 2 timeouts?
 
kanter s on a special lecture on how to make top 10 in efficiency list in 25 nanoseconds on court in which nobody gives a **** about passing you the ball. It's a hard one but he's gonna be solid.

Yea because none of the vets make turnovers or have bad games.
 
yay! We barely beat the Warriors at home!

Bring on the Thunder!!! This team is definitely ready for a deep playoff run.

It will be his second playoff birth. His rookie season Boston made it to the playoffs.
 
I am getting excited about the playoffs. I am also trying not to get too excited for a few reasons:

#1 In the playoffs teams tighten up their rotations. Outside of Hayward (who might lead the time in mpg during the playoffs) the four will regularly see about 25 to 30 minutes a game combined.

#2 The Jazz have played some good games lately, but they are not dominating teams at all. They have recent losses to teams that are hovering around .500. Yes, they do have big wins against the Thunder and Lakers but they also have losses to the Kings and the Suns which both came at home.

#3 The Jazz are still a mediocre team. It takes talent to win a championship. They are getting closer but they are still not there. I will always be a Jazz fan but I am not going to wear the homer hat and claim that a team lead by Jefferson and Harris are anything more that a first round exit team.

I think PKM actually agrees with the majority. Which is to say this is a game we should have lost for a brighter future. If this ends up being the deciding game between getting that Warriors' pick or not then you are going to see a lot of anger about it.

Kanter got FOUR minutes. He's getting dogged, no two ways about it.

Burks scored 6 points in 9 minutes (with two rebounds). Burks was the 2nd best wing player, but CJ Miles played twice as many minutes... sick... and went 1-5? Burks played 9 minutes so Miles could get his 17? So we could play PGs as SGs? Maybe Ty was trying to tank this game, because the Jazz played terrible basketball for 45 minutes. Atrocious.

That's how bad the Warriors are. And conversely, that's how bad they need to win every game they can.

I know, but with how panicked he has been coaching (ALL VETS ALL THE TIME OR ELSE NOT HOOOOOOLLLLLYYYYY ****!!!!!! sweat), it looks like he's trying to grind down the veterans into dust for OUR PLAYOFF RUN WOOOOOOO

The Jazz are getting Harris' and Jefferson's trade value up, although I think the Jazz might keep Jefferson through his contract.
