What's new

Jazz v Wiz 5pm MT.

Pathetic. Now is the time to push and they come out sloppy with no energy. Pathetic.

Boston is going to kick our asses tomorrow. I can't even imagine a scenario where their guards don't torch us.

This game be like

LOL some JAzzfanz get all excite about 7 game streak against the poverty teams on NBA and say Oh we bake cake...dont make trade DL don't get better PG than the garbage ones we have well, because. Then this happens.

Our point guard play man....might as well have brought back JL3 and played him 40 minutes

You'd expect Trey to be shattered after that trade deadline and he was, but he had 7 AST and 2 TO, and he led the team in +/- . Hood had 5 TO and Favors and Neto had 4.

Neto, Burke, Lyles, Johnson, Ingles and Withey each made only one basket. Burke 1-8, Neto 1-5, Ingles 1-5, Lyles 1-5.

If what I said was wrong and the Jazz were good I would be saying different, yes.

You don't think this team is championship caliber yet right? You definitely shouldn't, and we're not a Jeff Teague or Ty Lawson or even George Hill away from becoming one. It's a process and the Jazz are ahead of schedule, their biggest problem is health.

Had a feeling they'd lay an egg in the first game back. I was hoping I was wrong. Bring on Boston!

Our front office is lame. The Jazz have an easy schedule pre-all star break where they only play two winning teams (both of which are in slumps), and apparently, narrowly beating a bunch of bad teams was enough for the front office to sit on their asses through the deadline.

This is a season that is going to end up being lost because the Jazz thought reserving Exum's starting spot (despite the fact that he didn't do **** his entire rookie year) was more important than getting a point guard worth a damn. It also doesn't help that this front office thinks that shoring up our depth with D-League players is adequate.

This whole "build for the future thing" is going to fall flat on its face when our "young" players start becoming unrestricted free agents after next year and leave. This team is so f***ed.

Even Boston with their **** load of picks couldn't get any deals done. I wanted Teague or Hill, too. But when teams are asking for WAY too much, you can't make a trade. Jazz weren't going to win a title, not with Teague, not with Hill. Heck GS could even swap us Curry for Neto and the Jazz probably wouldn't defeat the Warriors.

Burke's trade value will be EXACTLY the same this summer. If a team wants him, it will be because they value him as an upcoming RESTRICTED FA. If they wanted him as strictly an expiring contract, he'd actually have more value at the deadline NEXT season.

Just because Atlanta wasn't willing to deal Teague now doesn't mean they won't trade him this summer. They want to make a run while they still have Horford. Lose him and they'll need to rebuild, And getting a backup PG who will be a RFA behind Schroeder could make a lot of sense. Or Utah could make a run at Conley. Mack's contract is a team option, IINM,

Bad news guys. After the game I was playing with my kids in the living room. We have a little four foot plastic basketball hoop here. I grabbed a ball and took a shot from across the room saying "if this goes in, Jazz win tomorrow." The ball rimmed out. I said "ok, actually this is the shot and if it goes in Jazz win." I borked it of the side of the backboard. This doesn't bode well for tomorrow.

I hate you and your superstitious nonsense. [crosses fingers] Jazz will win. Have to get another 7 game win streak going.

that's it. i m turning it off. wall destroyed us all night. our pgs suck ***

Think that is the KARMA that Benji's wife/ Trey's mom was talking about?

Sadly, we are hanging our hopes on a guy who averaged 2.4 assist and 4.8 points and is coming off an ACL injury.
