Jazz visit The Gift Horse 12/26/17 7:00 MST

Tonight it became obvious Favors is not Gobert on the defensive end, and Rubio continues to just throw the ball away and is a complete liability on offense. Jazz need to make a move or two at some point. Rubio needs to go or be sat, and the Jazz definetly need Gobert in soo many ways. It’s been a rough month, but tonight was embarrassing and the way Rubio just throws the ball away is sickening. The Jazz have some bright spots for sure. Rudy and Donovan are still the brightest spots. Dante, Hood, and even Burks are not bad players. Joe Johnson is obviously on his way down. The Jazz are in a decent position and have some talent. It’s likely gonna be a rough year, but building around Donovan and Rudy is something to look forward to....Dante would be amazing to have at this point. Dante simply needs to stay healthy. This is definetly a rough year after building up to last year, but there are some bright spots coming....the Jazz need to try and unload some dead weight though.

Rubios probably a great guy, he’s not great for this team, and his turnovers are really bad turnovers that usually end in points for the opposing team. Rubio isn’t working, and it would sure be nice to have Dante and Donovan with Neto too. Heck call D-Will and sign him to a contract and I think we would be better off than Rubio.

10 minutes for Burks. Teh leash is short

Yeah. And Rubio missed about 10 of them himself.

The others haven't made theirs either. This lose isn't on Rubio even though he has been a disappointment.

Alright, so here’s my crazy rebuild plan (none of this is realistic):

- Rubio to Suns for Chandler.
- Burks to LAC for Beverley and Johnson (filler).
- Favors and JoeJ to Cleveland for Crowder, Frye and Shumpert.
- Hood, Exum and a pick to Orlando for Gordon.

Roll into next year:

Beverley / Neto
Mitchell / Ingles
Crowder / Thabo
Gordon / Jerebko
Gobert / Chandler

If I am Dante, I would leave the Jazz and go some where else, especially the way he has been treated by the coach here. He will blossom in another team , just like trey Lyles.

Way to rearrange the furniture, bro. You should be an interior designer.

Trey helped Denver beating the jazz and is playing very well right now, just shows you that Snyder has no clue how to develop players.

Agreed....I’ve yet to see Burks hurt the team in as quick of fashion as Rubio seems too.

But Rubio plays with such passion (according to Locke) I’m not sure what passion means in this sense but I’m sure it’s Spanish for turnover or missed shots.

I don't know if trades are a solution. No one outside Gobert and Mitchell have much value. Are you willing to give up a first round pick to be a little better right now? Not me.
When Neto comes back, could try starting him. He's at least hitting his 3s at 45% so defenses have to guard him.

If a fifth-year vet with DM’s offensive ability was on the team the Jazz would be force-feeding him the ball in an effort to win. Seems contradictory to an incessant play to win philosophy.
