That's a bit of an overreaction.New season, same result. It does not matter if Hayward and Favors are healthy it is the same thing over and over again. We just do not have very good players.
If I didn't watch the game I wouldn't be too bothered. But that was just so disheartening. Three games in and we are yet to put in a good team performance. No need to panic yet, but these games are just as important as those at the end of the season.

My feeling exactly. We are terrible. If it weren't for Hill, we would've been routed every game. We are playing as badly as any team in the league right now.
Yes...
I overreact, people overreact, because this game, or this 3 game period deserves an overreaction. We were in that portland game just because Joe Johnson erupted and scored almost 30 points in the second half. Still we blew it in final 2 minutes as always.
Laker game was also bad. Luckily we were up against a bottom 5 team.
I'm not worried about the results.
The effort part is worrying except for 2-3 players. Lack of playmaking is worrying. Constant iso's and the amount of heavily contested stepback mid range shots are worrying.
None of these factors are "directly" because of Hayward's injury.
Hayward can't be the excuse every time we get a loss.
The Blazers and Clippers have been better than the Jazz even at full strength, and a short-handed Jazz team lost to them both on the road. Somehow, I'm neither surprised nor concerned.

My concern is coming into the 4th quarter and only have scored 53 points.
If the three ball isn't dropping they aren't scoring enough, regardless of opponent or gym.
We;ve never seen this Jazz team at full strength though.
Ingles has never been passable on defense. He has quick hands, that's about it.True, and who knows if we ever will, or, given their frequent injuries, maybe we already have. If they were full strength more would obviously be expected (and after evaluating the team at full strength for a decent amount of time then they might be discovered to be better than one or both of Portland and LAC), but, as it stands, it really doesn't make a whole lot of sense to lose one's mind because the Jazz lost to two superior teams on the road.
This was the first game I've watched (and stopped watching after the Clippers got up 15) so maybe it was just a poor matchup against quick perimeter players with killer crossovers, but has Ingles lost two steps defensively? Has he gone from passable to a major liability?
