They also shoot quick in games. You know so the defender doesn't get in position to stop them
I think we're talking about different things.

They rush in games though too. Due to guys actually guarding them.
Also, the three point competition has the best shooters in the entire nba. I don't think they all play for the mavs.
Is Raymond felton one of the best three point shooters in the nba and I just never knew? How about d-will? What is wes Matthews shooting from three this year?
Bawse saying that the mavs were making more threes than normal, ooen or not, was correct
I think we were talking about shooting the ball quickly. Something players in real life nba games do and guys in the three point competition do.I think we're talking about different things.
That's fine. I was discussing whether players easily shoot 70% from three when they are open... which is what the discussion was about.Bawse was saying "They don't even shoot 70% from 3 in the 3 point contest", which was a silly point because the Mavs were shooting 52.9% from 3 at the time, not 70%, and when really good 3 point shooters are being left wide open, 52.9% is not strange at all.
All I know is that they were 6/9 at one point and it seemed like they couldn't miss.Bawse was saying "They don't even shoot 70% from 3 in the 3 point contest", which was a silly point because the Mavs were shooting 52.9% from 3 at the time, not 70%, and when really good 3 point shooters are being left wide open, 52.9% is not strange at all.
Side note* Why is Paul Giamatti doing commercials?

He prob gets paid good money (1-5M?) for doing work that may have taken him less than an hour.
A lot of stars do them. Clooney, Damon...
I would shoot better grabbing a ball from a rack (since it's not moving and I don't even have to catch it) than a ball being passed to me (sometimes coming fast, sometimes slow. Sometimes high, sometimes low)Plus it's completely different grabbing a ball and shooting from a rack than catch and shoot but this doesn't even matter. Jazz give up one of the worst (or best for the team) percentages from 3. Carlisle is exploiting it.

If the argument was whether or not guys shoot 52.9% from three when open then I wouldn't have got into the discussion
I agree with you thereI still stand by my statement that in practice, yes, they hit about 70-75% of their threes, when they shoot one, the ball boy passes another, and so forth...totally uncontested. That's all I was saying.
