He was ok today, few silly turnovers though. If he learns to take better care of the ball he will be very decent backup PG.

Actually, yeah. I think this makes a lot more sense.

I think the idea with Mitchell playing with the second unit is he's more instant-offense for a unit that needs it. But I think there's a case for more frequent, shorter stints makes more sense on older legs (stay warmer through the course of the game and getting timely rest), and he'd be playing with less pressure to run an offense that he hasn't looked comfortable running against weaker 2nd units.
