Im ready for the deadline so the LOPO era can come to an end.

Whatever you need to make yourself feel big prodigy. Your day sucks so bad you got nothing else better to do.

Once the deadline is gone, you will get your way. People will whine about this and whine about that. Must be right up your alley.

I don't think there is a guy on this site that hasn't figured out you don't like Favors.

I like the guy but don't like the fit. He should have been traded years ago. Hell, he might not ever get traded. And for his sake, that's a shame. He would have been one hell of a center.

Witty: actually used his body to defend and not reach all the ****ing time
yamers: bad day for the tank
yamers: every tank team lost except the jazz
DownUnder: Are they that wound up about Drummond not getting into the all star team ? he should just lose some weight and play better
Jazzta: Yeah he's a good sport
Jazzta: night everyone, good win
Ostertag>Duncan: night
DownUnder: lol dunno bout good but it was a win
Diamond77: ugly win
DownUnder: mmm think a steak for lunch is calling
Diamond77: Ingles has been decisive down the stretch
Witty: so after close to 3/4 of the season, we break 20 wins
DownUnder: btw Archie living end ya

Very ugly win. I will miss Favors when he’s gone. Rudy needs to work on going up stronger and being more under control when he gets the ball. He should be able to at least dribble once. Donovan still needs some time at the point to eat better at it. Things got hecktick when Rubio left the game and Donovan went to point but I was happy to have the ball in Donovan’s hand again down the stretch, he’s getting extreme defense thrown at him every night and it will just make him better. He’s also gotta hit 3s a little more consistently. Donovan has a great looking shot and it’s pretty quick and he’ll work it out. Rudy and Donovan both have some minor things to work on but they are both progressing parts of their game. Donovan’s shot at the end of the 4th was a great play he just got blocked. Overall the game was pretty ugly, but Donovan and Rudy are progressing and that’s all I hoped for.

PS-Kudos to Ricky Rubio, he added much needed stability to the comeback tonight and things went south when he went out in the 4th. I honestly don’t think we win tonight without Rubio. He’s had good games 3 out of the last 4 games....that said I’m still not on board with him on anything other than the fact it seems Donovan can learn some things from him.....just no shooting tips.

Avery Bradley made Donovan look like a rookie. Dude locked him down the entire second half.
Bradly played him tough for sure. I think Donovan is a little worn down also. He’s mentioned and hinted several times at the fact that the amount of games has taken a toll on him. His last really good game was Sacramento when we had a couple days rest. I imagine he will have one more rough game in Toronto and then the Jazz get 3 days off before playing Golden State at home. I expect Donovan will bounce back against the Warriors with the needed rest. The Jazz schedule has seemed insane to me this year, we get GS Tuesday and then go back on the road for a week, there’s got to be a lot of home games coming up at some point. The NBA schedule would be rough, especially the last 2 months the Jazz have been through.

Exact opposite of the type of the game the Jazz need: They win and DM plays bad.
Now they triple-team our star because he's basically the only real offensive threat. Not to mention he has no space to operate. Kind of tragicomedy..
Ownership: Tanking is immoral. FO: We need to showcase our trade pieces. QS: I don't know what I'm doing any more.

This comment is proof I didn't read the thread before posting :)

Burks with a third game in a row where he played well on both ends of the court.
This game he guarded 4 different guys and they scored 3 points on him combined.... the three points were when he fouled a 3 point shooter on a close out when he was pushed into the guy.
Hood out and thabo out and exum out and playing great defense and efficient offense in an overtime game and he only gets 15 minutes.

So joe Ingles goes nuts to send the gane to overtime and then help win it....and he uncharacteristically skips out on post game availability?

I hope he was just anxious to go see someone. Hoping all the trade talk and alleged stressed out lockerroom hasnt fractured him.

C'mon Fish - join those of us who have serious questions of Quin.... :)

Donovan needs to learn to overcome that kind of attention, because he’s likely to get every team’s #1 perimeter defender most nights out. DL really needs to get him some help. I know that trades are a deadline business, but I hope the Jazz can find something soon to break up the logjam. Time to start moving forward in whatever direction they decide to take.

I think Joe Ingles just doesn’t like talking to the media after the game. When he had his game with 21 points at home one reporter tweeted he always tries to get out quick or take really long in the shower so he doesn’t have to talk to them. After his 21 point game he wasn’t thrilled to talk to them either and tried to avoid it. I think that’s just how Ingles is. I also don’t think he’s liked a few stories by the media lately about the team.
