Exum needs to develop some sort of mid-range jumpshot if he ever wants to become an offensive threat.
Yeah. He is working a floater in, but a little stop and pop 10 to 12 footer would be killer. If he gets that, it would put so much pressure on the D when he does that little hesitation move. He is coming along just fine

I love the intensity, and confidence this year.

Well in that case, in his rookie year he was the full time starter for half a season. iirc he had some pretty major injuries and its hard to start a guy who is in street clothes. Then we traded for george hill who was much much better than X. Then we got rubio and Exum isnt good enough to beat him out yet. (Maybe that changes this year)
If someone thinks Exum has been screwed by not being the full time starting point guard on this team his whole career then i think they are not too bright.

I do think he should have always got minutes over shelvin mack though.

dude i don't disagree with you, it's ElanProdigy who is saying he should be starter. I think the one legitimate gripe is getting screwed playing behind Mack to please Haydouche. I think he's playing well this year so far, even last game he just missed shots but was playing the right way. Be interesting to see how the season goes

He kinda has a sweepy hook thing. He’s better at getting to the basket and finishing than Ricky is. I don’t want him shooting mid range at all... hit a three or drive to the rim and score or kick it out.

I think we witnessed the worst shot in jazz history. It was early in the game Favors had Gordon of all people, tried a turnaround hook shot from 3 ft out and clanked it hard off the top of the back board. That was really bad.

Bad shot? Sure... but I think you're forgetting literally every shot that John Lucas ever took, those are all much worse in terms of Jazz history.

When did I ever say he should start? Enlighten me please. I said Im over Ricky and Royce.

Dante can get minutes at the 1, 2 or 3... he needs a chance to share the court with DM, shooters and a competent Centre.

I’m sorry but when you are DFavors and three feet away in the post with someone of Gordon’s stature then throws it up wildly high off the backboard and hits so hard it has no chance to hit rim, that’s easily the worst effort on a shot in the history of the game

They weren't bad shots to take. Taking the right shots is a (small) positive.

...

Ok? In his pt tonight he literally contributed nothing but sure I guess he took good shots. Zeros. But good shots. Cool.

Personally, I’d like to see him get more PT. Especially if Rubio is off. But cmon. He did nothing tonight.

complaining about what he did... asking for more PT.... classic butthurting O Gatino. Go to bed.

What's going on with Royce? I thought he looked heavier when I saw a preseason game in person. He doesn't have that fire he had last year.

I don’t know man it was bad... JL3 would set up his bricks beautifully with 400 unnecessary dribbles... he was a true artist.
